February 03, 2009 02:02:54"He's Just Not That Into You" world premiere event on Monday, February 2, has become a star-studded extravaganza. Held four days before the dramedy opens in U.S. theaters, the special screening night taking place at Grauman's Chinese Theater saw the streaming in of many Hollywood A-listers from the film's all-star cast to other celebrity guests.
Making an effort to come to the premiere were most of the film's cast ensemble, including Ben Affleck, Drew Barrymore, Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Connelly, Scarlett Johansson, Bradley Cooper, Justin Long, Kevin Connolly and Kris Kristofferson. Dressed to impress for the occasion, Aniston, in particular, was seen coming to the event in a classic look with a black Burberry pantsuit.

Swift as a newcomer seized the Breakthrough Video of the Year through her appealing "Tim McGraw" video. McGraw may not present in the video to help absorbing the number of votes, but the video about two people falling in love, broke up but always be reminded of each other whenever they hear the song, was one video that captures the 'rising factor' of Swift.
Kris Kristofferson to Receive CMT's Johnny Cash Visionary Award

With names such as Loretta Lynn, Reba McEntire, and Dixie Chicks listed as the previous recipients of CMT's Johnny Cash Visionary Award, country singer and actor Kris Kristofferson is honored to receive it this year. Announced by the cable station on March 12, 2007, Kris will collect it on the actual event on April 16 in Nashville.
Tapped to hand the award is Cash' daughter, Rosanne Cash. She feels that Kris is the perfect choice for this year since her father and him are closer than brothers. "I love Kris fiercely, not just because he and my father are cut from the same spiritual cloth, and because he is the living artistic link to my dad, but because he is my ideal as a songwriter and a human being," Rosanne said in an email.
Jennifer Aniston to Shoot Her First Film Project

Acting is something common for Jennifer Aniston, but moving behind the camera is definitely one new thing for her. The actress reportedly is about to make her directorial debut, set to shoot her first film project with friend Andrea Buchanan.
The pals will make a short film "Room 10" with Kris Kristofferson and Robin Wright Penn for style magazine Glamour's annual Reel Moments project. More on the drama project, it is said to be set in a hospital emergency room, where Kristofferson's patient character quizzes his stern nurse (Penn) about the bad choices she has made in her life.

All hailed from Texas with talent and full dedication, Matthew McConaughey, Lyle Lovett, JoBeth Williams, and Kris Kristofferson this time will receive honor at the sixth annual Texas Film Hall of Fame Awards slated to be held on March 10 for their contributions to films. Lovett, as announced by the Austin Film Society, will be presented the AMD Live Soundtrack Award for his work in the soundtrack of "Dr. T and the Women" also in his 2003 album, "Smile", which contains his cover version of various soundtracks.
Still at the same event, Memphis native Cybill Shepherd will be the representative to accept the Frontier Award on behalf of the 1971 Texas movie "The Last Picture Show" which revolves around an isolated West Texas town and its lonely inhabitants.
