Rihanna to Hit the Road With Ciara and Keyshia Cole
April 23, 2009 09:04:07Rihanna is ready to get back to work as she reportedly is in talks to go on a tour with Ciara and Keyshia Cole. Though details on when and where the roadshow will be kicked off are still unclear, rumors on the street suggest that it will be a North American leg and will be started in September.
No statement has been made by Rihanna as well as her management team concerning the tour rumor. But, a source tells E! Online that the singer "wants strong women to join her" on the road. The source explains, "This is a 'women empowerment' type of tour."

May 17, 2008 09:05:16After the behind the scenes of the clip was aired on-line earlier this week, The Game's official music video for "Game's Pain" has finally got premiered at Yahoo! Music on May 16. On the video that was directed by well-known director Dale "Rage" Resteghini, Game is accompanied by Keyshia Cole.
The single itself is being confirmed by the rapper as the first from his upcoming album "L.A.X.". On the lyrics, Game raps about his admiration to his hip-hop idols. On a recent interview with MTV, Game also explained the reason he taps Keyshia to join him on the single saying, "Me and Keyshia came up around the same time. We always wanted to get in the studio together but never had the chance because both our careers took off at the same time. She blew to superstar status on the R&B side. I blew up on the rap side. I knew she would come in and kill it. And she did."

The preview clip sees the rapper's activities on his video shoot set and also the appearance of Ice Cube, Raekwon, Three 6 Mafia and Big Daddy Kane.
The new clip is directed by Dale "Rage" Resteghini and will also feature Keyshia on it. It will officially get premiered at Yahoo! Music on May 16.
Lil Wayne Skips G-Unit, Picks Keyshia Cole for Tour
May 06, 2008 10:05:48With the release date for his new album "Tha Carter III" coming closer (June 10), Lil Wayne already prepared a tour to promote it. The rapper has already been thinking of artists he will take to join him on tour and Keyshia Cole is on top of the list.
Wayne told MTV about his plan to collaborate with Keyshia on stage saying, "I think I might go out with Keyshia Cole. You're bringing two different types of people in there." Adding his reason to pick Keyshia, he explained, "You got people coming to soothe their souls with Keyshia, and you got people who wanna throw their hands up with me. It's like listening to the radio. I think a concert should be like listening to the radio. When you listen to the radio, and your top-five or top-eight songs come on, it's hip-hop, it's R&B ... I think you gonna get that from me and Keyshia and whatever in between that."

March 28, 2008 04:03:33The second music video from Trina's forthcoming album "Still Da Baddest" has been released. The video for "I Got a Thang for You" is premiered on Yahoo! featuring the song's collaborator Keyshia Cole as her female friend.
The video was shot earlier this month in Miami but no further details have been released. Produced by J-Roc, "I Got a Thang for You" is the follow up to the first single "Single Again" that was released late last year. Originally the second single slated to be pulled from the album is the Mya-featuring track "Wish I Never Met You" but it has been replaced with "Thang" instead.

Her "B'Day" brings good luck for Beyonce Knowles. Not only the LP sold more than 541,000 copies in the U.S., immediately coming in at number one, making it her highest first-week sales as a solo artist, but also it brings Beyonce a leading three nominations at the 21st Soul Train Music Awards.
The three nominations she scores are Best R&B/Soul Album, Female; Best R&B/Soul or Rap Music Video and Best R&B/Soul Single, Female both for "Irreplaceable". The next nominee is Mary J. Blige who's been nominated for Best R&B/Soul Single, Female for "Take Me as I Am"; and Best R&B/Soul Album, Female for "The Breakthrough".
Christina Milian & Def Jam Parted Ways

Christina Milian has been dropped from her record label Island Def Jam, that's an unfortunate for the R&B singer after only a month releasing her third album "SO Amazin'."
Milian was reportedly dumped by the music label after angered Island Def Jam boss L.A. Reid due to poor album sales. In a further reports it is mentioned that Milian refused to record "S.O.S. (Rescue Me)" - which went on to be a huge hit for Milian's label mate Rihanna.
Nominees of the 20th Annual Soul Train Awards

Kelly who turns out to lead the nomination this time. Obtaining a Best Male R&B-Soul Album nod for his "TP.3 Reloaded", the R&B crooner was also nominated in Best Male R&B-Soul Single and Best R&B-Soul or Rap Music Video categories for song "Trapped in the Closet (Chapter 1 of 5)" besides being the first recipient of the Stevie Wonder Award, given for his outstanding career achievements in song writing.
Joining Kelly in the line-up of Best Male R&B-Soul Single and Album nominations, John Legend nabbed the honor of being presented with the 2006 Sammy Davis Jr. Entertainer of the Year Award while chart-toppers Destiny's Child received another accolade for Outstanding Career Achievements from Quincy Jones.
Carey Won Four Vibe Awards

Approvingly, she was a big winner at the third annual VIBE Awards held Saturday, gloriously bringing four awards all at once.
During the event, to air Tuesday on UPN, Carey won Artist of the Year, R&B Voice of the Year, Best R&B Song for "We Belong Together" and Album of the Year for her comeback hit, "The Emancipation of Mimi." Meanwhile, music group The Diplomats was named Best Group. Rapper T.I., to add, won the Street Anthem award for "U Don't Know Me."
