The actress is a new addition to the CTU team, being placed as an analyst named Dana Walsh. The role is not only recurring but regular.
Dana will work side by side with Kiefer Sutherland's Jack Bauer. The character is described as "a highly respected and down-to-earth data analyst at the new and improved New York branch of CTU." She reportedly will be entangled in a romantic relationship with field agent Davis Cole who is played by another new regular, Freddie Prinze Jr.

The episode where the "Battlestar Galactica" star is guesting would be "The Vengeance Formulation" which airs on November 23. Howard is unsure what to do with his new girlfriend Bernadette, so he discusses it with the guys. However, talking with his friends only makes him take wrong turns.
Katee Sackhoff Dives Into 'Big Bang Theory' as Wolowitz's Fantasy
October 22, 2009 01:10:54Katee Sackhoff aka Starbuck of "Battlestar Galactica" will be visiting half-hour comedy "The Big Bang Theory" next month. A one-time guest appearance has been arranged to happen on the November 23 episode, CBS has confirmed.
Maureen Ryan of Chicago Tribune revealed that Sackhoff will play herself and that there "may be nudity" involved. What kind of storyline Sackhoff will contribute is not elaborated but it is said that she would be Howard Wolowitz's fantasy woman.

June 09, 2009 10:06:20The next season of "24" will see one more big addition. Katee Sackhoff, who made fame as Starbuck in "Battlestar Galactica", has been hired to be a regular playing a member of the reformed CTU named Dana Walsh. Her involvement has been confirmed by a FOX spokesperson.
Being a member of the fictional U.S. government anti-terrorist agency, Dana will work side by side with the main character Jack Bauer. Per Entertainment Weekly, Dana is "a highly respected and down-to-earth data analyst at the new and improved New York branch of CTU." But beyond that she has a skeleton in her closet that she's trying "desperately" to hide.

May 25, 2009 03:05:54Words are flying that a reboot of "Daredevil" will be made a project and that Katee Sackhoff is attached to the film as the character Typhoid Mary. The speculation was based on the fact that the "Battlestar Galactica" actress has bought several Marvel titles at Los Angeles' Golden Apple comic book store.
Now that the Sci Fi show has been wrapped up, the actress allegedly told the store owner that she was trying to get a part in a Marvel movie. "So we got a little visit in our comic shop last week by Katee Sackhoff, also known as Starbuck for her role on BSG," a post on the Golden Apple Store blog is read. "She proceeded to grab all the Typhoid Mary comics we had and has hopes to get a part for a marvel movie..."
