Kat Dennings Among Cast for 'Thor'
November 24, 2009 04:11:49Following several actors who have been previously confirmed to join "Thor", Kat Dennings also has a part in the film. The news was first spilled by the film's star Natalie Portman when she was interviewed by MTV Splash Page. "Well I'm really excited. Kat Dennings is going to be in it with me and she's a good friend and an amazing actress, so I'm looking forward to that," the depicter of Thor's first love Jane Foster said.
Dennings' inclusion in the cast ensemble for the film was later confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter. However, there has been no word on what character that will be played by the 23-year-old beauty as the site claimed Marvel Studio keeps a closed lid on her role.

Lining up to accompany Anna Faris in the actress-starred untitled comedy, "American Idol" runner-up Katharine McPhee, Emma Stone, Rumer Willis, Kat Dennings, and Dana Goodman have all agreed to get their names put in the project's cast list, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed.
A joint production of Columbia Pictures and Happy Madison Productions, pic focuses on Farris' character, a Playboy bunny kicked out of the Playboy Mansion, who becomes the house mother to the lamest sorority on campus. The quintet's inclusion is learned to fill in the major roles of the sorority sisters, thereby solidifying the flick as the first female-driven comedy to come out of the production company.
