March 30, 2009 10:03:30Winners for this year's Juno Awards have been uncovered at a two-hour ceremony at General Motors Place on Sunday, March 29. Nickelback and Kardinal Offishall were among the musicians scooping multiple awards at the event.
Nickelback got three trophies for Juno Fan Choice, Album of the Year and Group of the Year. During a press conference after the show, the band's lead vocalist/guitarist Chad Kroeger said, "Shock and awe, I was hoping for Hedley ... I love those guys very much."
Video Premiere: Kardinal Offishall's 'Numba 1 (Tide Is High)'
October 24, 2008 03:10:58Kardinal Offishall has debuted a music video for his brand new song "Numba 1 (Tide Is High)". Directed by Gil Green, who also helped making music videos for Lil Wayne's "Lollipop" and DJ Khaled's "We Takin' Over", the video features a cameo appearance from Keri Hilson, who also lends her vocals to the song. It begins with Offishall walking into an R&B dancing party and he performs the song with Hilson for the guests.
"Numba 1" is a Supa Dups-produced single which is a cover version of The Paragons' 1967 reggae song "The Tide Is High". The song that appears on Offishall's September-9 release "Not 4 Sale" is the latest version of the "Tide Is High", which only features Rihanna.

September 08, 2008 01:09:39Kardinal Offishall is off to a good start this year with his fourth studio album "Not 4 Sale" that has spawned a hit. Set to be released on September 9, the album is backed up with an Akon-featuring single "Dangerous" that has peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Kardinal, real name Jason Harrow, is one of the Canadian acts that successfully achieve fame in their homeland and made a name in the international league, including in the U.S.. The rapper who started his career at the age of 12, has been signed to Akon's Konvict Muzik and has established collaborations with contemporary artists such as Rihanna, The-Dream and T-Pain.

July 22, 2008 10:07:36Rapper/producer Kardinal Offishall has just premiered a new music video for his latest single "Set It Off" on July 22 via Yahoo! Music. The new video was directed by Matt Alonzo and features the appearance of hip-hop duo the Clipse.
The video sees Kardinal and the hip-hop act rapping at a club accompanied by their friends and lots of female models. The clip doesn't have lots of feature or background changes as most of the scenes were shot at the club.

July 02, 2008 09:07:55Preparing to release his new LP "Not 4 Sale", producer and hip-hop singer Kardinal Offishall has just premiered a new music video via his official MySpace page on July 1, in a bid to promote the upcoming album. The new clip was labeled the official street video for the singer's latest single "Burnt".
Just like on the song, on the clip Kardinal was also accompanied by Lindo P and also few other friends. In most of the scenes on the video, the singer was seen rapping on the streets and a bar. The clip ends with what looks to be the cover of the producer/singer's new record.
