Juvenile Didn't Attend Daughter's Funeral to Avoid Media Attention
March 11, 2008 11:03:26The funeral for Jelani, the 4-years-old daughter of rap star Juvenile, was held in South Carolina, Saturday, March 8 with a reported 500 attendants. Though so, the rapper himself was a now show at the funeral.
Explaining on Juvenile's absence from the funeral, a spokesman for him explained that the rap star decided to skip the funeral to avoid media attention that would divert attention from mourning and celebrating the life of his daughter. No further explanation being made public, except that Jelani's mother Joy Deleston, 39, and her older sister Micaiah, 11, were all mourned together on the funeral, took place in James Island, South Carolina.
Juvenile Having Difficult Time Dealing with Daughter's Killing
March 03, 2008 09:03:00Juvenile is having a difficult time dealing with his daughter's killing, so said his manager Aubrey Francis Friday, February 29. The rap star reportedly is still trying to cope with the death of his 4-years-old daughter Jelani.
Jelani, her 39-years-old mother Gwinnett County Sheriff's Deputy Joy Deleston, and her 11-years-old half-sister Micaiah were shot to death by Deleston's 17-years-old son Anthony Tyrone Terrell Jr. Thursday, February 28. Their bodies were found later that night in their Lawrenceville, Georgia home.
Juvenile's Daughter Killed By Her Brother
March 01, 2008 09:03:46Georgia authorities have on Friday, February 29 arrested a 17-years-old boy named Anthony Tyrone Terrell Jr. for allegedly killing his mother and two sisters, one of whom happened to be the daughter of famous rapper Juvenile. As of press time neither Juvenile nor his label Atlantic Records were available for comment.
Anthony shot and killed his mother Gwinnett County Sheriff's Deputy Joy Deleston, 39, and her two daughters Micaiah, 11, and Jelani, 4, who along with being Anthony's sister is also Juvenile's daughter. The Central Gwinnett High School sophomore has been booked on three counts of murder and three counts of aggravated assault and is being held in the DeKalb County Jail.

Time goes by and the U.S. pop album chart also sees some changes in its Top 10 position. Make a surprise jump to the top of the chart is the soundtrack to the Disney cable TV movie "High School Musical", selling over 142,000 copies for the week ended Sunday. Thus, this is the second time since its release 10 weeks ago that the set seizes the No. 1 spot on the chart.
In the meantime, the week's 2nd position belongs to British singer/songwriter James Blunt whose album "Back to Bedlam" sold 126,000 copies in its 24th week. Bay Area rapper E-40 gloriously earns his first top 10 on the Billboard 200 in a decade as "My Ghetto Report Card" secures the 3rd rank with 94,000 copies. R&B singer Ne-Yo's former chart-topper "In My Own Words" climbs one place to No. 4 with 77,000 copies. Elsewhere, last week's champ, Juvenile's "Reality Check," slips to No. 5 with 75,000 copies in its second round.

It's the first time ever that rapper Juvenile scores the No. 1 spot on the U.S. albums chart. The New Orleans star has marked quite a very good beginning in his music career when his album "Reality Check" sold 174,000 copies in the week ended March 12, to become the chart-topper on the Billboard 200.
English singer/songwriter James Blunt, meanwhile, bounces seven places to No. 2 with his debut release "Back to Bedlam," which has been sold 161,000 copies in its 23rd week on the chart. Secures the 3rd place is the Disney's television movie "High School Musical" which slips one place with 138,000 units.
Rapper Juvenile Arrested on Child Support Warrant
January 18, 2006 01:01:33Rapper Juvenile was arrested in central Florida Friday January 13th on a warrant related to a child support case. The 30-year-old star was taken into custody at The Ritz Hotel in Ocala without incident.
Juvenile was arrested because of an outstanding child support warrant, yet released on his own recognizance that evening in time to make his performance at Ghost House Nightclub.
Carell Sent to Juvenile

The actor has inked a deal with Universal Pictures to write his own comic vehicle, which is untitled and based on his original idea. Moreover, both parties also reported to have bought "Juvenile" of Mark Gunn and Brian Gunn.
Carell himself alongside Mary Parent and Scott Stuber will produce either project. As of "Juvenile" it is categorized as a drama comedy, in which Carell is set to play the most Caucasian man in America, who's sent to juvenile prison for a petty crime he committed as a kid. Then suddenly this suburban drip is surrounded by 11-year-old bad-asses.
