CBS' Official Fall 2009 Schedule Listed
May 21, 2009 10:05:46In a formal presentation held on Wednesday, May 20, CBS announced its official Fall 2009 schedule. Among the highlighted ones are the pick-up of "Medium" which has been snubbed by NBC and the go-ahead on "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service" spin-off which is titled "NCIS: Los Angeles".
CBS Studios which is behind "Medium" previously criticized NBC for canceling the show starring Patricia Arquette. "NBC's cancellation of 'Medium' is inexplicable to us," the statement said. "The ratings don't lie: 'Medium' outperforms many of NBC's renewed shows ... We believe the show has a significant future and await developments." It will be put on Fridays, sandwiched by "Ghost Whisperer" and "Numb3rs".

With four episodes left, Eriq La Salle returns to "ER" to reprise his role as Dr. Benton. Also spotted in the preview which has just been released are Julianna Margulies who reprises Nurse Carol Hathaway and Susan Sarandon as a patient's mother.
Should the rumors are to be believed then the next week's episode of "ER" would also be the one with George Clooney returning as Dr. Doug Ross. Executive producer John Wells would not confirm this but he told EW that not all those who come back will be cramped in one episode. "You should not expect them all to be in the finale," he said. "We've spread them out over the season. I didn't want to do something like somebody dies, or there is a celebration, or the hospital closes, so that's why everybody comes back. I wanted it to be natural."
Julianna Margulies Declines a Return to 'ER'
November 17, 2008 12:11:26Julianna Margulies, who has been invited by NBC's "ER" to reunite with some of its original stars for guest shots on the series' season finale, has been reported to reject the invitation. The actress who is recently cast on "City Island" has declined to reprise her role as Carol Hathaway for the NBC's medical drama series fifteenth season final in February 2009.
On November 15, Margulies hints her impossibility to reappear in "ER". At the time, she said, "I feel like I left Carol Hathaway in the best scenario possible, I can't imagine making it any better than that."

March 13, 2008 09:03:02With NBC is in the final stages of renewing the medical drama "ER" for its fifteenth and final season, producers of the show reportedly are looking forward to bring back its original cast members in a bid to give the series a proper send-off. And among the stars the producers want include George Clooney and Julianna Margulies.
"We want to revisit characters that have existed on the show over the years and say where they are now," producer David Zabel said in a statement. "We'd love to get them all back in some way, but that doesn't mean we're going to. But we're gonna try."

No details being made public by the actress concerning the birth of her newborn baby, but her mother Francesca did spill the bean about the infant. On her outgoing voicemail message, amid background violin music, Francesca announced, "A beautiful baby boy has been born to us. All is well. His name is Kieran Lindsay Lieberthal. Is that poetry? Do a little dance. Love this day! All is well. God bless! Can't wait to hear from you."

The film is a project based on Ethan Canin's adaptation of his short story titled "Batorsag & Szerelem," from his anthology "The Palace Thief." Former NBA All-Star Reggie Miller of Baby Boom Prods will serve as its executive producer.
"Beautiful Ohio" will star William Hurt, who is joined by the like of Rita Wilson, Julianna Margulies and Michelle Trachtenberg. The story of the film centers on a teenager, played by newcomer Brett Davern, who feels he is in the shadow of his idealized older brother, played by David Call. Wilson and Hurt play the boys' parents, with Margulies cast as a seductive next door neighbor and Trachtenberg as Call's girlfriend.
