Joe Perry: We Never Sack Steven Tyler
February 08, 2010 03:02:46The war of words between Aerosmith stars Joe Perry and Steven Tyler appears to be over - the guitarist insists the singer is still very much a part of the rock band. Tyler announced a surprise two-year hiatus from the group in 2009 without informing his bandmates, prompting Perry to tell fans he would be looking for a singer to take the frontman's place.
The "Jaded" singer has since checked into rehab to take control of a painkiller problem, suggesting his time off may have been necessary, and Perry is now insisting he never meant to imply that Tyler was no longer a part of Aerosmith.

February 08, 2010 11:02:44A video filmed to serve as a promotional effort for Simon Cowell's charity single "Everybody Hurts" has been released. It features scenes of Haitian people crying for help post the earthquake which are mashed up with footage of the stars, including Mariah Carey and Miley Cyrus, recording the song in the studio.
A remix of R.E.M.'s song of the same name, "Everybody Hurts" is opened with verses from Leona Lewis and followed by Rod Stewart. Other big musicians involved in this project are Girls Aloud's Cheryl Cole, Mika, Joe McElderry, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Jon Bon Jovi, James Morrison, James Blunt and Susan Boyle.
Joe Jonas Replaced by Cody Longo on 'Brothers and Sisters'
February 06, 2010 10:02:14Joe Jonas is no longer attached to "Brothers & Sisters". The Jonas Brothers member who is slated to make his first guest TV appearance in the drama backed out due to scheduling conflict. He was initially tapped to play the younger version of Balthazar Getty's character, Tommy Walker.
However, the series has found a replacement for him in Cody Longo. Known as Nicky Russo on ABC Family's "Make It or Break It", Longo is now the 16-year-old Tommy in a two-hour flashback episode. Executive Producer David Marshall Grant told EW that the episode will go back to three different time periods and expose a "shocking and transformative" secret about the Walker family.
Steven Tyler Had an 'Awkward' Audition With Led Zeppelin
February 05, 2010 12:02:11Steven Tyler has tried out for Led Zeppelin to replace their frontman Robert Plant who refused to join the band for a reunion. Commenting on the audition, guitarist Jimmy Page said he felt awkward about it.
Furthermore, he admitted to Steven's former bandmate Joe Perry that the rehearsal sessions were "shambolic." According to Joe, Jimmy confessed that Steven was unfamiliar with Led Zeppelin's materials because the vocalist didn't do preparation as he believes they will be working on new songs.

In a Twitter post, Pete Wentz wrote to a fan asking about the status of the band, "Hiatus is forever until you get lonely or old. i dont plan on either."
On his blog, Pete also posted a message about losing interest in Fall Out Boy. "Every day for the past 7 years of my life i woke up with a purpose. i felt driven. my eyelids forced awake. this was all that kept me going. when i lost that. i lost part of me. i went off the deep end a bit. i guess maybe i was the biggest fan and just felt despair," he stated.
Joe Jonas Could Be Young Tommy on 'Brothers and Sisters'

The middle of Jonas Brothers who has expressed his desire to pursue acting career will be guest starring on "Brothers & Sisters" as the young version of Tommy Walker. The character's older version is played by Balthazar Getty whom the producers thought bears a resemblance to Joe.
ABC has not confirmed the role yet but an insider told E! Online that younger Tommy is sought for two episodes that will trace back the Walkers' history. This means other young actors are coming on board the show. The names, according to sources are, Kay Panabaker as Kitty, Anna Wood as Sarah, and Kasey Campbell as Kevin.

Music Video for 'We Are the World' Remake Is Filmed in 3-D

The judges got a tough contestant early in the audition. Julie Kevelighan tried out in the first season of "American Idol" but was plain bad. She went for a second chance this year but was equally bad. Problem was, she won't stop at singing one song even though the judges have said no several times. Security had to walk her out of the room and once she's out there, she blamed her breathing technique.

'True Blood': Meet Sookie and Eric's New Love Interests

Showrunner Alan Ball chose to pick lesser known actor to play the werewolf Alcide. Joe Manganiello, best known as Owen on "One Tree Hill" gets his major break as Sookie's aid in finding Bill who was kidnapped at the end of season 2. In the book by Charlaine Harris, Alcide is summoned by Eric and will have a fling with Sookie. However, Alcide is emotionally attached to his on and off girlfriend Debbie Pelt. Alexa was rushed to St. Vincent's Hospital on Saturday afternoon, December 5. After receiving treatment, "she is stable and her doctors are assessing her needs," a representative for Alexa and her musician father, Billy Joel, has confirmed to the weekly publication.

Giving up-date on her latest condition is her musician partner Joel Madden who confirms through a post on his band Good Charlotte's official site that Nicole has returned home and is recovering.
"So I stepped off the plane after a month out of the country, and basically went straight to the hospital for the week," Joel states in the message. "But don't worry all is well and we are home with no problems. I was supposed to go into the studio a finish the last few vocals for the record, but that had to wait. Family first."
