Jimmy Eat World to Release the Ultimate Deluxe CD
April 04, 2008 03:04:53Jimmy Eat World are giving their fans the ultimate treat with the release of a deluxe edition of their 2001 album "American Bleed". The set will be in 2 dics, featuring rarities, unreleased tracks, demo tracks, live tracks, B-sides as well as a new material called "Your House 2007".
The original version was released in July 2001, two months before the September 11 tragedy that prompted the band to re-title it to "Jimmy Eat World". The deluxe addition will retain its original title and be released on April 29. Beside the 11 tracks that appeared on the original album, there will also be holiday single "Firestarter" that was attached to "Last Christmas" single as well as a live radio session of "Game of Pricks". Video Premiere: Jimmy Eat World's 'Always Be'
January 29, 2008 04:01:37The official second single from Jimmy Eat World's 'Chase This Light' album has received its music video premiere. The video for 'Always Be' was filmed back on January 5 and a preview of it was uploaded on the band's official site and official YouTube account weeks later.
'Always Be' has received radio airplay although no digital and single release have been scheduled. It has entered Modern Rock chart at #22 despite its status as airplay only.
'Big Casino', Jimmy Eat World's Fresh Single

Alternative rock band Jimmy Eat World have pulled the first single off their upcoming album. 'Big Casino', taken from 'Chase This Light' was released on radio outlets on August 28.
'Big Casino' was also reported to be the opening track of 'Chase This Light' which is announced on the band's website to arrive October 16. Helping the band to produce this album is Butch Vig who is known for his work with Nirvana, Sonic Youth and The Smashing Pumpkins.

Band Jimmy Eat World has announced plans to record their next LP with the help of veteran producer Butch Vig, the man behind such success as Nirvana's "Nevermind", The Smashing Pumpkins' "Siamese Dream" and Sonic Youth's "Dirty".
In a post on the band's official site, Jimmy Eat World frontman Jim Adkins wrote "We are scheduled to begin recording our new record on August 7th at our own studio in Tempe. We will be working alongside Chris Testa as our engineer, and the legendary Butch Vig will also be alongside the band making sure we don't forget to thrash unreal!! (We are pretty sure that's Wisconsin slang for 'kicking serious ass')."
