'Orphan' Goes Black for Los Angeles Premiere
July 22, 2009 03:07:52A week shy of the U.S. theatrical release of "Orphan", a Los Angeles premiere for the horror thriller has been held by Warner Bros. Pictures and Dark Castle Entertainment on Tuesday, July 21. Using Mann's Village Theater as the place to present the film's special screening, the event was kicked off with arrival of the celebrities on the black carpet.
The actors who portray the Coleman family, Vera Farmiga, Peter Sarsgaard, Jimmy Bennett and Aryana Engineer, were all present at the premiere, and so did Isabelle Fuhrman, the young actress who plays the seemingly angelic but wicked Esther. Another cast member joining them was Sister Abigail's depicter CCH Pounder.
Young Kirk Found in The Flash Wannabe of 'Daddy Day Care'
January 30, 2008 12:01:36The boy who wants to be The Flash in the Eddie Murphy's 2003 comedy "Daddy Day Care", Jimmy Bennett, has reportedly nailed a part in the upcoming sci-fi film "Star Trek". Comingsoon.com reported that the 11-year-old actor has been picked by director J.J. Abrams to join the "Trek" cast.
The actor who will turn 12 on February 9 is going to star as the young James Kirk. He will join the young new crew cast of the action adventure film, including Chris Pine who depicts older Kirk, Zoe Saldana, Ben Cross, Zachary Quinto, Winona Ryder, Eric Bana and Leonard Nimoy. In the meantime, the film distributed by Paramount Pictures is expected to hit theaters on Christmas Day.
Stars Being Signed for New Thriller Boy in the Box

Joined the threesome are Jon Hamm, Jimmy Bennett, Jessica Chastain, and Marcus Thomas, the latest most recently appeared in John Dahl's comedy "You Kill Me." All have been confirmed to come under the direction of first-time helmer Anders Anderson.
