She shared the good news to reporters at the Television Critics Association conference in Los Angeles on Friday, January 9, during when she was due to promote her new HBO series "The No 1 Ladies' Detective Agency."
"The first trimester I spent in Botswana," Jill said recalling the time she first discovered her pregnancy just before leaving for the nation where she filmed the TV series. "That was one of the biggest challenges of my life. First trimester! You're sick every morning. It was seven hours time difference, the heat, the bugs, the 14 hour days."

Entitled "Yes We Can: Voices of a Grassroots Movement", the soundtrack album will be released in conjunction with Hidden Beach Recordings and sold to raise money for Barack's campaign until November 4.
Joining Kanye and Adam in single "Promised Land" is African-American spoken word poet, Malik Yusef. Meanwhile, other stars who will lend their voices to the theme songs collection include Stevie Wonder, who will sing "Signed Sealed Delivered" and John Legend who will perform "Pride in the Name of Love".

Jill was singing "He Loves Me (Lyzel In E Flat)" at a concert in Carnegie Hall, Scott on Friday, June 20 when Roberts suddenly presented her with a bouquet of flowers and a kiss. She then made public the news, telling their engagement to the crowd who then gave her wild cheers and applause.

Two Running a "Detective Agency"

Taking chance to spark a good onscreen collaboration together, Jill Scott and Anika Noni Rose have both given their agreement to highlight comedy mystery "The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency" that The Weinstein Company is setting up alongside Mirage Productions.
Based on Alexander McCall Smith's novel of the same name, the project will bill Scott to play Precious Ramotswe, the owner of a Botswana-based detective agency run by women, and Rose as her secretary/assistant detective. Also included in the cast is TV actor Lucian Msamati who will portray the fiancee of Ramotswe.
