Jenna Fischer Confirms Summer Wedding, Spills Few Details
December 08, 2009 03:12:21Jenna Fischer, who got engaged to writer fiance Lee Kirk in June, is planning to walk down the aisle next summer in Los Angeles. At the 2nd Annual Fur Ball at the Skirball Fundraiser benefiting Kitten Rescue on Saturday, December 5, she told People "We're keeping it small."
Not mentioning the exact wedding date and venue, the screen beauty did reveal, "We just got our save the date cards in, and they're adorable - after many hours and many proofs later." She then gushed, "We're going to hold them until after the holidays before sending them out so they don't get lost in the holiday mail. They were fun to pick out and [it] was a very fun girlie experience to touch the paper."

Several on-set photos of their weddings, which can be spoilery, are coming out to indicate that the scene has been shot in recent days. Jenna Fischer is seen in the pics with a loose white wedding gown that conceals her growing baby bump.
The new season which starts airing on September 17 will pick up a few months after the May season finale where Pam and Jim discovered that they are going to be parents. "We pick up three weeks before the wedding," executive producer, actor and writer Paul Lieberstein said in an interview. "She's not showing yet. She's hoping to get through the wedding without showing."

The news of the wedding was first sparked by actress Mindy Kaling who confirmed that she was writing an episode for the scene. She revealed that the wedding will occur as soon as the fourth episode, reasoning "Wouldn't people kind of get annoyed if we kept it (engagement) going for years and years?"

At time of writing, there has been no wedding plan shared with the press just yet. Should both of them make it to walk down the aisle, the wedding will be the first for Lee and the second for Jenna. She previously was married to filmmaker James Gunn from 2000 to 2007.

Continues to make diversion from her regular role in "The Office", Jenna Fischer has landed deal to have a starring role in Columbia Pictures' comedy project "Walk Hard."
Depicting the life of a fictional music legend Dewey Cox, the flick will see Fischer play a June Carter Cash-like love interest for the man, played by John C. Reilly. Jake Kasdan is on duty to direct as well as write the script alongside Judd Apatow and produce with Clayton Townsend.
Stars in Negotiations to Star in "Quebec"

Several notable movie stars are in talks to star in the soon-to-come comedy feature "Quebec". Among the many cast there are John C. Reilly and Seann William Scott, both of whom about to play two assistant managers of a large grocery chain who compete with each other for a coveted promotion.
In addition, there will also Lili Taylor and Jenna Fischer who both would portray their frustrated wives.
