November 04, 2009 02:11:08James Morrison goes out to the park in a music video supporting his new single called "Get to You". The singer is seen wearing a black high-necked coat on top of a shirt and sitting on a bench while watching people doing their activities.
"Get to You" is a new song set to appear in the deluxe edition of James Morrison's 2008 studio album "Songs for You, Truths for Me" which peaked at No. 3 on U.K. Albums chart. The track was written by him during his tour break last Summer and is expected to be released for digital purchase in mid November.

While Coldplay face off Elbow, Girls Aloud, Radiohead and Take That for Best British Group title, Duffy enters a battle with Adele, Beth Rowley, Estelle and M.I.A. in Best British Female Solo Artist. Beside listed in separate categories, the two also compete against each other in MasterCard British Album and the long list of Best British Single.

November 15, 2008 02:11:15A music video in support of James Morrison's "Nothing Ever Hurt Like You" has made its world premiere. The video features the English musician performing the new track with his band in a studio with huge lamps illuminating the room from the background.
"Nothing Ever Hurt Like You" is a song written by Morrison himself teaming up with Barry and Mark Taylor. The single, released in the U.S. only on September 23, is listed on his second major studio album "Songs for You, Truths for Me", which has been available for U.K. purchase since September 29 via Polydor Records.

October 01, 2008 03:10:12On the trail of his successful debut album "Undiscovered", James Morrison is back with his self-explanatory sophomore effort titled "Songs for You, Truths for Me" which was released on September 30. A brand new webisode featuring James and several audio streams from the new album have been given as promotional efforts.
Two of Morrison's tracks from the new album can be heard in sample on the streams below. "You Make It Real" is the first single from the album which has been released in September, while the more upbeat "Nothing Ever Hurt Like You" is slated to be the second single. The webisodes which can be seen here sees James talking about his new effort and how this time it's different.

On the new song James is teaming up with pop superstar Nelly Furtado.
The new track is being titled "Broken Strings" and it will be included on James' new studio album. Unfortunately, there are no exact details yet regarding the rock singer's upcoming LP's title or release date.

"Something that is of common interest to every man, woman or child on the planet must surely be the notion of peace," said Lennox who admits being "thrilled" in joining this event. "Without peace we cannot survive."

Forty years after the release of The Beatles' album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", a number of artists revive the classics in their version. Oasis, The Killers and Kaiser Chiefs are among some covering the 1967 album.
It is reported that the new version will still use the same equipment that were used back then. Leslie Douglas of Radio 2 said, "This will be not only a unique radio event, but a very special musical moment. The range and quality of artists involved ensure that this will be a fitting tribute to one of the great albums of all time."
The Rolling Stones Among Headliners of Isle of Wight Fest

The Rolling Stones will step on the UK festival stage for the first time since 1976. The British band will headline the Isle of Wight Festival on June 10. It is expected that the frontman Mick Jagger will give a live Webcast on March 22 in the website. The talk will concern this involvement, other European concert dates as well as the make-up concerts for 2006 cancelled dates.
The festival that absorbs a growing number of audiences each year will be held on June 8 until June 10. Snow Patrol and The Feeling will headline the first day and on the next day Muse and Kasabian will replace them as the headliner. Finally on the last date, The Rolling Stone will headline it alongside Keane.

Other stars' presence in John Mayer's tour is quite a common sight, as the singer likes to travel with fellow musicians. In the upcoming Continuum tour, Mayer has asked singer and songwriter Ben Folds to come along and open the act.
