Jaheim Premieres Video for His New Ballad, 'Never'
November 28, 2007 09:11:01The first single from Jaheim's fourth studio album, 'The Makings of a Man', has just got its music video premiered on AOL Music. The ballad song is titled 'Never'.
The rapper had posted the song that was produced by Daniel Farris, on his MySpace last month. "You should never say (never)," said Jaheim of the song. "It's about that relationship you thought you would never find." It has so far peaked at #29 on Billboard Hot R'n'B chart.

A representative for Mary J. Blige confirmed that the queen of hip-hop soul is about to kick off a summer tour July 14 at the UMB Bank Pavilion in St. Louis with openers Jaheim and LeToya Luckett.
The tour, dubbed "Mary J. Blige: The Breakthrough Experience", will end September 8 at Concord, California's Chronicle Pavilion. Click on Mary J. Blige's official site for the singer's tour dates in complete.

There's a drastic change on the US album chart. Last week's frontrunner Jaheim's "Ghetto Classics" tumbles to No. 10 with 59,000 copies in its second round. Meanwhile, the No. 1 position is secured by "High School Musical" by various artists, which jumps five places from previous week position selling 101,000 copies.
Debut at No. 2 is another kid-friendly title, "Kidz Bop 9," with 98,000 copies. To bow at No. 3 is Jack Johnson's "Sing-A-Longs and Lullabies for the Film Curious George" which is sold for another 89,000 copies. Another former chart-topper, Mary J. Blige's "The Breakthrough" holds firm at No. 4 with 76,000 units, followed behind by James Blunt's "Back to Bedlam" which climbs three places to No. 5 with 72,000 copies.

Who's the next chart-topper? It's R&B crooner Jaheim, whose third release "Ghetto Classics" steals the top spot on the Billboard 200, selling 152,000 copies. Meanwhile, last week's chart-topper, "Sing-A-Longs and Lullabies," by Jack Johnson and friends slips to 2nd position with 117,000 copies sold.
Barry Manilow's "The Greatest Songs of the Fifties" holds tight at No. 3 for a second week, sold another 116,000 copies. Mary J. Blige's "The Breakthrough" falls from No. 2 to No. 4 with 111,000 copies, followed behind by Andrea Bocelli's "Amore" which is sold 111,000 copies. Securing the 6th place is "High School Musical" soundtrack by various artists.
