Isaiah Washington can now all smile that NBC confirmed Monday July 16th his being recruited to guest star in its upcoming science fiction television drama "Bionic Woman," a 21st-century remake of the 1970s series of the same title, for the 2008-2009 season.
"Isaiah Washington is a very talented and versatile actor and I've always admired his work," Ben Silverman, the new co-chairman of NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios said on the actor, who admitted to feel "humbled by the opportunity". "What I always wanted to put at the forefront is my creativity, that thing I want to do, which is act," Washington commented on his partnership with NBC.

There it is, after numbers of bad report Isaiah Washington is moving on. The actor, who's been fired from ABC's hit show "Grey's Anatomy" in early June, reportedly is in preliminary discussions with NBC about a deal on an undisclosed project.
Isaiah told Entertainment Weekly recently that he and his agent "are sorting through a ton of offers in both film and TV ... There is one network in particular that's very interested, but I don't want to say anything specific until it's a done deal."

Isaiah Washington has, in an interview with the Houston Chronicle on Wednesday June 20th, opened up about the unfortunate while revealed further that he's threatening to take legal action against the show's producers.
"They fired the wrong guy. I have to clear my name. I'll start from the beginning. I'm telling everything. So here's the truth," the actor tells the newspaper. On his defense, Isaiah pointed T. R. Knight to have exploited the controversy in order to get a salary increase and to enhance his role.

For the first time ever Isaiah Washington breaks his silence after "Grey's Anatomy" firing, spills the bean to Entertainment Weekly's Website in a revealing interview.
Being asked on how he feels concerning his firing from the hit TV series, the actor said, "I don't know if it's a question of ''fair.'' I'm saddened by the outcome. I did everything that the producers and the network asked me to do. I came back under great duress and stress, and thought I was doing the job I was hired to do. I thought that was going to speak for my future at Grey's, but apparently that wasn't the same vision that the network and studio had for me."

The time has come for Isaiah Washington to pay the cost of his gay slur. The TV star won't be returning to the hit series "Grey's Anatomy" which catapulted him into stardom.
It is surely a bad news for Isaiah that his contract won't be renewed following the end of the series' third season. A spokesperson for ABC Studios confirmed the star won't be returning for a fourth season next September, with a source close to the situation said the studio declined to renew his contract citing the bad press they received because of his behavior both on and off the set as the reason.

Returning to the big screen after last being seen taking a film role in 2005, Isaiah Washington is poised to be the leadstar of an indie thriller titled "The Least of These", Variety has reported.
Here the "Grey's Anatomy" star will play a priest with a troubled past who gets transferred to a Catholic boarding school after the mysterious disappearance of one of the priests. Production is set to begin in L.A. June this year with Nathan Scoggins directing from the script he himself wrote.

Came under fire this year for using an anti-gay slur, Isaiah Washington is out with good deed. The actor makes good with his wealth, making $25,000 donation to a computer animation project that aims to detail the Atlantic slave trade.
The project, focuses on Bunce Island, an 18th century slave-trading castle that sent African captives to North America, as it appeared in 1805, is being directed by Joseph Opala and Gary Chatelain, who both professors at James Madison University in Virginia.
