Modest Mouse Brings the Heat to US' Download Fest

In the third cycle, U.S. version of U.K's Download Festival will present Modest Mouse as one of the headliners. Taking place at Tweeter Center, Boston starting from August 18, the festival will also feature Incubus, The Shins and Wolf Parade as the sidekicks band.
The Live Nation-owned festival will take more than the usual three-day course. There will be venues at Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Wash. on August 25, at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wis. on Sept. 1 and also at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif. on Oct. 6. More dates are following to be announced this month. Tickets to these shows will go on sale beginning June.
Incubus' Rescheduled Tour Dates

Alternative rock band Incubus has to reschedule the tour plan as guitarist Michael Einziger's hand is not yet healed. Posted in the band's MySpace the band apologizes for the inconvenience and only hopes for the best.
The new dates include Manchester Evening News Arena (Sept 20), Nottingham Arena (Sept 21), Glasgow SECC (Sept 23), Birmingham NEC (Sept 24), Cardiff International Arena (Sept 25), London Brixton Academy (Oct 1) and Bournemouth International Centre (Oct 3).

The US album chart sees the rising of a new champ as last week's chart-topper, Jay-Z's "Kingdom Come," slips five spots to No. 6, selling another 140,000 copies in the week ended Sunday Dec 4th. Winning the top spot of the week is rock group Incubus whose sixth studio album "Light Grenades" rocketing into the No. 1 spot of the Billboard 200, sold 165,000 copies.
Elsewhere on the chart is former chart-topping soundtrack to the Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana" which bounces five places to No. 2 with 157,000 units. DAUGHTRY's "Daughtry", in the meantime, slips one to No. 3 with 156,000 in its second week, just one place ahead of hits compilation "NOW 23" which is at No. 4 with 154,000. Also slip one to No. 5 is The Beatles' "Love" with 146,000.
