Sneak Peek of 'Gene Simmons Family Jewels' Season 4 Premiere
June 06, 2009 01:06:01Before "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" premieres on Sunday, June 7 at 10/9c, A&E has released a sneak peek of its first episode. Focusing on Sophie's Sweet 16 birthday party, the clip shows Gene Simmons being clueless about Sophie's milestone before his son Nick tells him.
The premiere will be a one-hour special that kicks off the 15 episodes of season 4. According to the episode guide from A&E, there will be a sibling rivalry when Nick turns the low-key birthday party into a loud scene. The synopsis is read: "Nothing is too good for Gene's little girl when he takes what starts as a simple birthday celebration and, against Sophie's wishes, attempts to turn it into the Sweet Sixteen of the Century."
Gene Simmons Offers Adam Lambert to Tour With KISS
May 22, 2009 02:05:41KISS' frontman Gene Simmons revealed that he is willing to take the runner-up of "American Idol" season eight, Adam Lambert, on a tour with his band. "He can come on tour whenever he'd like," Gene told Extra after the Idol result show on May 20 was wrapped up.
"Of course he'd have to put his armor on because the fans, especially the KISS fans, take no prisoners," Gene elaborated his statement. "You gotta go big. Gotta be strong. You gotta be a rock, baby!" During the occasion, he also praised Adam stating, "Adam was fantastic. What a powerful and attractive man he is."

A sex tape featuring Simmons has leaked online and reportedly is available to buy on the Internet. The shocking video apparently shows Simmons and Austrian energy drink spokesmodel simply identified as Elsa engaged in various sexual positions on a bed.
Disappointed at Industry, KISS Not Writing New Album
February 09, 2008 12:02:54Despite mapping out extensive tour for May and June this year, KISS have thrown away the idea of showcasing a new material on stage. Frontman Gene Simmons have confirmed that there will be no new album from the rock band because he was disappointed at today's industry.
"There's no new Kiss material because there's no record industry," Simmons said. "Any band who tries to do new material is trying to climb a slippery mountain. Every day record companies are folding. It'd be nice to have new Kiss songs, but what's the business model? Do you just put songs on the Internet for free? Then what?”

And while NBC, the original channel where the reality show being aired, is trying hard to keep the names under wrap, entertainment Website TMZ.com surprisingly has the complete list.
One of the cast for Trump's forthcoming "Celebrity Apprentice" is professional wrestler, hip hop musician and actor John Cena. Also on the list is previous Apprentice fame Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth. Retired professional boxer Lennox Lewis is hired as one of the contestants as well.
KISS Created Their Very Own Comic Book Company

Rock group KISS invades another territory beyond music. The music act has partnered with comic-book production company Platinum Studios to create their very own Comic Book company.
The comic-book entertainment company, called the Kiss Comics Group, run by KISS leaders Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. The company will kick off with a book, "Kiss 4K," and eventually venture out into platforms such as mobile, online, film, television and licensed merchandise products.

It might be not that special about unveiling a new line of fragrances. But since it was Gene Simmons who did it and it happened to be at a North Carolina Army base it became extraordinary.
The Kiss rocker appeared Monday Oct 16th at a North Carolina Army base to promote a new line of cosmetic fragrances, "Kiss Him cologne" and "Kiss Her perfume". Those who buy the products for $39 apiece got an autograph or photo taken with Simmons.
Kiss Keeps Rocking with New DVD

The group will on December 13th release a double-disc concert DVD, "Rock the Nation Live!," via Image Entertainment. To make it special and distinct from their other previous projects, the new set will contain abundance of special features and rare songs, like "Kiss Powervision/Select-A-Kiss."
"Rock the Nation Live!," taped in summer 2004 in Washington, D.C., and Virginia Beach, features core members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons flanked by guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer. "We were playing a lot of songs that Kiss hadn't played in years, or haven't played at all," Thayer told Billboard.com.
Simmons to Play in VH1's "Rock School"
April 11, 2005 10:04:27Rock 'n' Roll wizard Gene Simmons has signed to play in six episodes of VH1's reality series "Rock School," which is inspired by the hit movie "School of Rock." To produce "Rock School" for U.S. viewers, VH1 is teaming with Britain's RDF Media.
Moreover, for the American version, RDF and VH1 will tweak those episodes and include additional music and footage of KISS performing from past MTV specials. Simmons himself wants to play in this series because he is interested in transforming the troupe of pre-teens into a rough-round-the-edges rock band.
