June 02, 2009 10:06:17The upcoming season of "Nip/Tuck" will not only boast a guest performance by Gilles Marini but also the return of its obsessed transsexual, Ava Moore. Famke Janssen who portrays the character, has signed a deal to reprise the role for season 6 which also serves as the conclusion to the whole drama series.
"Just finished the last script today - the 100th episode," one of the series' creators Ryan Murphy wrote on the show's online fan forum. "The end. Very strange. But I thought I would confirm something here on the forum, since you've all been so great and loyal: Ava Moore (Famke!) returns for the final two episodes."

It highlights on the scene when Bryan Mills digs up clues from his distraught daughter, Kim, after she witnesses her friend, Amanda, is being taken away by two men.
Starring Liam Neeson, Famke Janssen and Maggie Grace, the action thriller for the 20th Century Fox resolves around Mills, a former US intelligence agent. When he finds out that his teenage daughter is being kidnapped in Paris, he sets out to rescue her and bring the ruthless gang that abducted her to justice by relying on his special skills.

Six famous names have all come together to round out the cast of "The Wackness", a comedy feature coming from Occupant Films.
Variety has reported that the likes of Ben Kingsley, Famke Janssen, Mary-Kate Olsen, Josh Peck, Olivia Thirlby, and Method Man are taking starring parts in the movie, which has already hired Jonathan Levine to direct based on his own screenplay.

Picking up the best among notable big screen titles and names for its 33rd annual Saturn Awards, the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films finally listed out those worthy for the honors in movie categories as it held the ceremony yesterday, May 10 at the Universal Hilton.
Most kudos wonderfully went to Warner. Bros Pictures' "Superman Returns" for the superhero flick made its way to collect five prizes altogether, namely Best Fantasy Film, Best Actor for Brandon Routh, Best Director for Bryan Singer, Best Writing for Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris, plus Best Music for John Ottman.

It's time for Famke Janssen to go for spooky things again after "House on Haunted Hill." Writer/director Eric Red has revealed to Arrow in the Head that the former Bond girl has already been tapped to play the lead in his supernatural thriller flick "100 Feet", currently being set up at Grand Illusions.
"We've been fortunate to cast Famke Janssen in the role of Marnie," Red remarked. "Famke is a beautiful actress of great presence and intelligence, completely dedicated to the realism of character and performance. While Jessica Alba, Adam Brody, Ken Marino, Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux have all signed on to star in the comedy "The Ten", the likes of Winona Ryder, Famke Janssen, Gretchen Mol, Liev Schreiber, Rob Corddry, Ron Silver and Oliver Platt have just joined the City Lights Pictures' film project.
"The Ten", the satire that spoofs the Bible's Ten Commandments, is being directed by David Wain from a screenplay by Wain and Ken Marino.
Janssen will Evolve New Character in "X-Men 3"
April 08, 2005 10:04:10Dutch actress Famke Janssen has signed up to repeat her X-Men role in the movie franchise's third installment. Her role Jean Grey has literally died at the end of X2, and so she's going to play a new one in X-Men 3.
In the movie, which is schedulled to begin shooting this summer, for a May 26, 2006, US release, Janssen will play the role of Phoenix. Other stars onboard for the third installment of the Marvel Comic adventure include Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry and Patrick Stewart.
