Jonas Brothers Stop By 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' for Akers Family, the Video
October 06, 2008 10:10:26Having a number of work commitments to fulfill, Jonas Brothers stop by ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" to show some love, support and help for the Akers family, whose oldest child Christian has Chrohn's Disease and two daughters, Brooke and Faith, are suffering from Spinal Muscular Atrophy that left them confined to their beds. Besides having meet-and-greet session with the young children, the brothers also sang them a song.
Traveling to West Chester, Ohio to tell the Akers family they will have their home being renovated in only seven days, "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" filmed Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, and Kevin Jonas meeting the family in San Francisco where they've been sent on vacation while their house is being remodeled. They shook hands with the kids who consider them as their idols and Brooke even had the chance to kiss one of the famous siblings.
ABC Promo Videos for 'National Stay at Home Week'
September 19, 2008 01:09:54ABC have released two promo videos for their "National Stay at Home Week" program. Opening a whole new season for many of their TV shows, the network encourage viewers to stay at home within date 21 this month through October 1.
The marathon will be opened with the highly-anticipated 60th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday, September 21 which will be preceded with a special episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" at 7:00 P.M.. On Monday, there will be the seventh season of "Dancing with the Stars" as well as the fourth season of "Boston Legal" starting from 8:00 P.M.. The next day, ABC offer a brand new reality show "Opportunity Knocks" where host JD Roth comes knocking on random American family's door and test their bond as a family through trivia questions.
Extreme to Give a Bonus Track for New LP's European Edition
July 04, 2008 04:07:07Reunited Boston rockers Extreme are giving a special treat for their European fans by giving one exclusive song titled "Americocaine" for their upcoming record "Saudades de Rock"'s European edition. Not only that, their devotees in the continent will also have the chance to purchase the new record earlier than their fans in the U.S. The LP's European edition is set to be outed on August 1 while the U.S. release is on August 12.
Prior to the new record's release the band's frontman and guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, reveal some details about it at a recent interview with S&M Morning Show. Beside speaking about the new record, in the interview Nuno also explained about the cause of Extreme's breakup stating that he was the one to be blamed for it.
Extreme Unveil New Album Title
May 12, 2008 04:05:54Reunited rock band Extreme are getting close to make their album come back after 13 years of absence. The details of the new album have been revealed recently at their MySpace page. The new record will be titled "Saudades de Rock".
Unfortunately, the band haven't confirmed the official release date yet for the upcoming album. But Blabbermouth.net managed to reveal some of the new songs that will be on the set, which are "Star", "King", "Learn To Love" and "Ghost".
Extreme, Latest Rock Band to Reunite

The rock band that took over music scene in early '90s is back recording after 12 years without studio release.
The band that have reunited twice since their split 1996, will work on their fifth studio album which is produced by guitarist Nuno Bettencourt. Details are still scarce, but Billboard.com revealed that there is also a plan for the band to launch a world tour next year.
Perry Working on the Debut Album from His New Band

Former Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell is at the very last stage of working on the debut album of his new group Satellite Party, featured in it is ex-Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt.
The album, supposedly a self-titled one, boasts guest appearances from Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Michael Balzary and guitarist John Frusciante, Black Eyed Peas vocalist Fergie, New Order bassist Peter Hook and Farrell's wife, Etty and is slated for a late summer release.
