The Meredith Grey of ABC's TV series "Grey's Anatomy" has given birth to a daughter last Tuesday, September 15 in Los Angeles. A representative for the actress has exclusively confirmed to Us Weekly that the newborn infant is named Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery.
Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery, who is a music producer, have been married since November 9, 2007. The screen beauty had her representative confirming in April this year that she and Chris were expecting their first child together.

Fellow celebs Kate Walsh, Sandra Oh and Rebecca Gayheart were among the guests.
Held in the backyard, the baby bash was dominated by pink flower arrangements and candles that accented the tables. There were umbrellas erected to shield guests from the heat. "Ellen looked gorgeous in a white summer dress with her hair in a braided up-do. She seemed very excited to celebrate with her girlfriends," a source in the know tells People about the expectant actress.
