Making up a really promising lineup of cast, Felicity Huffman, Patricia Clarkson, Bill Pullman, and Elle Fanning are all coming onboard to bring highlight to a comedic feature entitled "Phoebe in Wonderland", Variety has learned.
Fanning will play a rebellious little girl who clashes with the rule-obsessed authority figures in her life while Clarkson is billed as her unconventional drama teacher whom she seeks enlightenment from. No words yet on the roles Huffman and Pullman are going to portray.

Known for its longtime dedication in paying respect to talented young people in television and movies while giving scholarships to financially or physically challenged young artists seeking a future in the entertainment industry, the Young Artists Foundation, for the twenty-eighth time, has delightfully unveiled the nominees for its Young Artist Awards.
In leading acting categories for film feature, names like Cameron Bright and Alex Neuberger, both of "Running Scared", and Thomas Sangster of "Nanny McPhee" are all mentioned as the best young actor contenders while Dakota Fanning of "Charlotte's Web", Keke Palmer of "Akeelah and the Bee", and Sara Paxton of "Aquamarine" will compete against each other in opposite category.

Jumping in as an item, Dakota Fanning and her sister Elle Fanning have both agreed to appear together in a true-life drama feature titled "Hurricane Mary", Variety has learned.
Joining the starry cast already containing Patricia Clarkson, Chris Cooper, William H. Macy, Laura San Giacomo, and Jordi Molla, the Fannings will portray disabled yet gifted twins whose mother, played by Clarkson, undergoes a long battle to earn them rights to have a public school education.
Christian Slater and Elle Fanning Unwrap "Gideon's Gift"

Making an on-screen collaboration for the first time, Christian Slater and Elle Fanning have both given agreement to star in "Gideon's Gift", a film adaptation of Karen Kingsbury's novel of the same name from her Red Glove series.
Slated to start the production early February in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the project sees Slater portray Big Earl Gibson who abandons his belief in God after losing both his wife and daughter. An eight-year-old leukemia patient named Gideon Mercer, played by Fanning, is determined to reach out to him, but the man seems to just as determined to rebuff her instead.
