October 15, 2008 02:10:37After opening up about his vision on the creatures of "The Hobbit", dragon Smaug and Wargs, director Guillermo Del Toro speaks out about what he knows of the casting. Talking to MTV, the 44-year-old fesses up that no one has definitely come on board the project though he and his crew have in mind some of the potential actors.
Asked whether Hugo Weaving will be cast as Elrond once again, Del Toro reveals that he has the intention to approach the star as well as other "Lord of the Rings" actors, like Andy Serkis and Ian McKellen. "Oh yeah. We have to approach him - of course," he says. "Hugo Weaving, Andy Serkis, Ian McKellen - they all must be approached to do the movie."
Blood-Covered Zombies Roam 'Quarantine' Premiere
October 10, 2008 04:10:28On October 9, a day before "Quarantine" unleashes its scare on the big screen nationwide, Screen Gems rolled down red carpet on Knott's Scary Farm in Buena Park, California to celebrate the horror remake's premiere. Though seemingly an ordinary premiere, the event was made unique with the appearances of stars as well as zombies on the red carpet.
Among the attendees for the special screening event were the film's stars, Jennifer Carpenter, Jay Hernandez, Dania Ramirez, Doug Jones, Johnathon Schaech, Marin Hinkle and Rade Serbedzija, and one of the movie's producers, Clint Culpepper, as well as director/writer John Erick Dowdle and co-writer Drew Dowdle.

Getting very close to the filming start date, director Guillermo del Toro has delightfully opened up the casting choices for his "Hellboy 2: The Golden Army" posted at the official fan-site of the guy, Del Toro Films .
While stating the character of John Myers won't return in the flick, del Toro confirmed that John Hurt would once again appear as a cameo with Anna Walton, Luke Goss, and Roy Dotrice playing Princess Nuala, Prince Nuada, and King Balor, respectively. Added to the lineup is John Alexander who will show up as Johann, whose voice will be provided by Thomas Kretschmann instead.
