DAY26 Leaves P. Diddy's Label, Signed to Atlantic Records
November 25, 2009 09:11:29It has been confirmed that DAY26 who were handpicked by P. Diddy at the end of MTV's "Making the Band 4" are no longer at his label Bad Boy Records. "Bad Boy is always our family, but we're with Atlantic right now," one of the boyband's members Willie Taylor told The BoomBox.
In further statement, Taylor explained about their determination to prove that they are more than just TV stars. "I think a lot of people lost it with the entertainment of the show. So now, we really want to show people what we're all about, that we do our thing whether its on stage, in the studio, writing and producing -- we do it all," he gushed.

On top of that, "Hannah Montana" has also become Disney's fourth top 10 debut this year, behind "Cars," "The Cheetah Girls 2" and the immensely popular "High School Musical," which is the only album to sell more than 3 million copies so far in 2006. The New York Supreme Court has on Tuesday declined to hear the appeal brought by Diddy through which he demanded for a lower court decision ordering him to pay more than $19,000 a month in child support payments.

The set, which is of the Bad Boy Entertainment/Atlantic Records, features the voice of Biggie with some of today's most popular artists and producers, including Eminem, Jay-Z, R. Kelly and Mary J. Blige. Moreover, there are also duets by music great Bob Marley, rapper Big Pun, and Biggie's most notable rival, Tupac Shakur.

December 05, 2005 03:12:00Diddy has done a good deed Saturday when he made a surprise visit to Chris Evert's charity tennis tournament to meet a teenage cancer patient named Chalon Keen. The 17 years old male has been fighting for two years a cancer that creates tumors in her muscle cells.
And meeting Diddy is what she has dreamt of. Lucky for him that the celebrity willingly spent time together. That visit, which happened through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, surely was a dream come true for Chalon.

Combs Vs PETA
February 25, 2005 09:02:15Hip-hop star Sean P. Diddy has been blamed by animal activist PETA for using six penguins as props at the Hotel Victor opening in South Beach he hosted on Friday night. Discovered the six penguins floating on platforms in a swimming pool to mark the event, the heads of PETA blamed Combs and the party organizers for their cruel treatment toward those animals.
Penguins should live in a very cold climates and they are very sensitive to temperatures, thus one source named Michael Mc Graw questioning on how the animals could do the performance in such environment. However, Combs' publicist Rob Shuter insists that bringing the penguins into the party wasn't his client idea, while a spokesman for Hotel Victor claims the penguins were actually "warm-weather" specimens from South Africa that were "trained specifically for entertainment, expositions and television commercials.
