DAY26 Leaves P. Diddy's Label, Signed to Atlantic Records
November 25, 2009 09:11:29It has been confirmed that DAY26 who were handpicked by P. Diddy at the end of MTV's "Making the Band 4" are no longer at his label Bad Boy Records. "Bad Boy is always our family, but we're with Atlantic right now," one of the boyband's members Willie Taylor told The BoomBox.
In further statement, Taylor explained about their determination to prove that they are more than just TV stars. "I think a lot of people lost it with the entertainment of the show. So now, we really want to show people what we're all about, that we do our thing whether its on stage, in the studio, writing and producing -- we do it all," he gushed.
DAY26 Debut Music Video for 'So Good'
August 22, 2009 11:08:15DAY26's single "So Good" has got an accompanying music video. Filmed in black-and-white scenes, the video shows the five members of the boyband as they make out with their girlfriends and caress the ladies' bodies.
Coming off the group's second studio album "Forever in a Day", "So Good" is worked on by a bunch of producers, including acclaimed musicmaker Bryan-Michael Cox. This is the fifth single being released off the effort after "Imma Put It On Her", "Stadium Music", "Girlfriend" and "Truth Is a Lie".

June 29, 2009 01:06:182009 BET Awards has been wrapped, and it is revealed that Beyonce Knowles led its winners list with two nods. She received her first award in Best Female R&B Artist category, beating Keyshia Cole, Keri Hilson, Jennifer Hudson and Jazmine Sullivan.
Then, Beyonce added another trophy with Video of the Year prize, thanks to her "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" music video. During her acceptance speech when collecting this award, she thanked Michael Jackson.
DAY26's 'Truth Is a Lie' Music Video Comes Out
June 26, 2009 04:06:34After releasing a music video for single "Girlfriend", DAY26 come up with another video, this time to promote their song called "Truth Is a Lie". In one of the scenes, the group who sport all-black outfits are shown leaning against the wall of a dark tunnel while a woman in white dress is captured running through them.
Both "Girlfriend" and "Truth Is a Lie" appear among new songs in DAY26's second studio album called "Forever in a Day" which has been in stores across United States since mid April. While the former song is produced by Tank and Willie Taylor, the latter is worked on by Rob Holladay, Allen Potridge, Ms. Rideout and 808.
DAY26's 'Girlfriend' Music Video Arrives

"Girlfriend" is a ballad song which is produced by top-notch producers Tank and Willie Taylor. It appears among new songs in DAY26's second studio album called "Forever in a Day" which has been in stores across United States since mid April.
2009 BET Awards Nominations Revealed, Lil Wayne and T.I. Lead the Pack
May 13, 2009 09:05:42Nomination recipients for this year's BET Awards have been announced at "106 & Park" on May 12, and grabbing the most nods were rappers Lil Wayne and T.I.. The two musicians received five nominations each.
Among the five gongs, Weezy and T.I. are set to face off against each other in two fields, Best Male Hip-Hop Artist and Viewer's Choice. In those categories, they are joined by such contenders as Rick Ross, Kanye West, Young Jeezy, Beyonce Knowles, Keri Hilson, Soulja Boy, Rihanna and T-Pain.
Danity Kane Reunite for 'Making the Band 4: The Final Chapter'
April 16, 2009 01:04:19The season finale of "Making the Band 4" will show some of the tumultuous moments including the break up of Danity Kane and the struggle of DAY26 to record their debut album. The finale will be split up into two, the first which will air tonight, April 16 and the second that airs April 23 on MTV.
According to the press release, viewers will witness the members of Danity Kane coming together for the first time since their break-up and speaking to fans. Dawn Richard and Aundrea Fimbres will find out whether they will continue as a band under Bad Boy Records when P. Diddy reveals the fate of Danity Kane.

April 03, 2009 09:04:27A music video to support Hip-Hop group DAY26's single entitled "Imma Put It on Her" has come out. It shows the R&B singers singing the song in a beach and partying with rapper Yung Joc and their mentor P. Diddy in a nightclub.
"Imma Put It on Her" is the first single to be included in DAY26's forthcoming second studio album "Forever in a Day". Featuring P. Diddy and Young Joc on the hook, the track has been available for digital purchase in U.S. since March 31.
DAY26's New Single 'Put It on Her' Emerges

The club banger song is expected to be included in their forthcoming sophomore studio album, which is yet to have a working title.
DAY26 have recently been featured in MTV's "Making the Band 4" season three part 2. Their activity in studio during the making of their second album will be presented at the reality show, which has been premiered on February 12.
Danity Kane's Split Hurts, DAY26 Say
January 30, 2009 02:01:20DAY26, the musical act handpicked by P. Diddy at the end of "Making the Band 4", reveal that they feel hurt when knowing Danity Kane have broken up. The band's member Qwanell Mosley a.k.a Que told MTV, "It hurt all of us, 'cause we were family."
Willie Taylor, another member of the band, meanwhile commented, "I think even with the Danity Kane situation, I think they kept things secret to the public." He then added, "So their breakup was a big surprise. That takes a lot to keep all that bottled up inside, and they exploded to the point they can never return."
DAY26 Announced National Tour Dates
July 16, 2008 10:07:43After finishing their recent "Making the Band tour", which finished on July 14, DAY26 don't waste too much time to go on another road trip. The boy band have announced that they will be starting their "National Tour" later this month.
The P. Diddy-formed quintet are ready to take on five venues and meet their fans in Cleveland, Colombus, Detroit, St Paul and St Louis. The tour is being scheduled to start on July 23 and end on July 27.
Video Premiere: DAY26's 'Since You've Been Gone'
June 28, 2008 10:06:43R 'n' B boy-band DAY26, have just got their new music video premiered on FNMTV on Friday, June 23. The clip was made to accompany the group's second single "Since You've Been Gone" and it was directed by Erick White.
The clip tells about the love stories from all of the group members who shouted about their feelings about their girlfriends. It seems that most of the scenes for the video ware being shot in a hotel, where in most part of the clip the band can be seen singing on top of the hotel roof.
P.Diddy Joins Danity Kane and DAY26 on Tour

Diddy confirms that he will join both of the musicians he has produced, DAY26 and Danity Kane on their upcoming tour. All of the events from the tour including the performances and back stage footages will be shot and featured on Diddy's music program "Making The Band"'s new season.
Danity Kane and DAY26 Hit the Road Together!
April 17, 2008 11:04:17P. Diddy's proteges, Danity Kane and DAY26 are going to hit the road together to promote their new releases. The music acts will team up to make up "P. Diddy & MTV Present Making the Band 4 - The Tour" line-up, accompanied by their Bad Boy label mates, Donnie Klang and Cheri Dennis.
The trek will visit 10 cities beginning May 24 in Orlando, Florida. Tickets are pre-sold starting today, April 17 on Bad Boy Records website while its general sale will be effective starting from Saturday, April 19. Diddy who announced the tour on MTV's TRL on Tuesday, April 15 said that there will be cameras following them during the tour and the footage will be aired this Summer as an episode for the new season of his reality TV series, "Making the Band".

March 19, 2008 10:03:17P. Diddy-created band DAY26 have begun the series of their promotion for their debut release. A new music video has been released to mark their first ever clip as a five-piece. The video is for the first single "Got Me Going" that is pulled from their upcoming self-titled album.
Since they are in the same house with Danity Kane, the group are also having the same director as the all-girls band to direct this video. Syndrome who also directed Kane's "Damaged" video is also taking this project for DAY26. Diddy is making a cameo in the clip, signing his name in the contract for the boys.
