October 16, 2008 02:10:26As a promotional project of his David Banner-featuring single "Cool", Anthony Hamilton releases a music video for the song. Shot in the outskirts of a city, the video shows Hamilton's happy life with his in-video wife even though they have no money in their pockets.
First appearing in the video making a morning coffee with no milk on it, Hamilton is seen sitting hand-in-hand with his in-video wife on the couch of their living room while watching their broken television with no picture displayed on it. Though problems come one after another, the couple is still able to smile and laugh.
Video Premiere: David Banner's 'So Long'
August 28, 2008 04:08:46Rapper and record producer David Banner has just released a music video to support his new single "So Long". The single is taken from the track listing of his fifth major studio album "The Greatest Story Ever Told", which has been available for purchase in stores since July.
The music video starts with a capture of newspaper cutting entitled "Stripped of Our Rights". At some points, the video is divided into two small scenes, one of which shows him in a black white background, while the other carries the colored capture of George Walker Bush and some other American presidents, delivering their presidential speeches.

July 10, 2008 11:07:21Getting close to the release date for his new LP "The Greatest Story Ever Told" on July 15, David Banner is set to celebrate it by preparing to premiere a new clip for his latest single "Shawty Say". The shooting for the upcoming video has been started earlier this week in L.A. and he will also be accompanied by Lil Wayne on the clip.
Speaking about the concept of his new music video, David told MTV, "The concept of the video 'Shawty Say' is really about the things women say about men that a lot of times we don't pay attention to." Moreover, the rapper also said, "As a brother, I just wanna articulate what the ladies are saying to me in a way that men could actually embrace it. So what we going around doing is seeing the men who ain't treating their women right and we're pulling them aside and interrogating them. 'This is what your woman is saying. You need to go home before somebody scoop her.'"

David Banner's New Album Release Date Pushed Back Again
June 04, 2008 10:06:37Another disappointing news comes from David Banner regarding his upcoming album as the new set has its release date being pushed back once again. David's "The Greatest Story Ever Told" which was scheduled to hit the stores on June 3 has now been pushed back to July 15.
It won't be for the first time that the new record's release got delayed, previously the album was actually being set to be dropped in October 2007 but it got re-scheduled to June 3. Unfortunately, there hasn't been any statements from either David or his record label to explain about the pushed back reasons.

At the shooting of the video David and Chris revealed some details about the clip. Speaking to MTV, Chris said, "It's a lot of ladies, The whole thing has been fun-even just chilling with everybody." Meanwhile, Banner also made a comment about Chris, telling reporters, "I know that since he's a big superstar now, he's trapped in the tour bus and like, 'I wish I could just go out and just have fun!".

Commenting about his upcoming fifth album David said, "Most rappers in this day and time don't get to make it to their fourth or fifth album, so I feel very blessed." The new album is planned to be released on June 3 through Universal Records. The rapper also revealed about the other two albums he also plans to release, the first one is "13", that will be the follow up for "The Greatest Story Ever" and the other album is a companion for his Adult Swim cartoon show.

Releasing "Speaker" to give first impact, David Banner is ready to release the full length-version. The rapper's fifth studio album "The Greatest Story Ever Told" will be dropped October 9 via SRC/Universal Motown.
Beside working with Snoop Dogg, Akon and Lil Wayne in the first single "Speaker", Banner also tied collaboration with Cool & Dre, UGK, Chris Brown, Jim Jones and Nitti. He also got behind the panel himself claiming that he "likes to change music".

Rapper David Banner's new single from his fifth studio album has got its video premiered on Yahoo!. The song titled "Speaker" that was initially named "9mm" is the first single pulled out of "The Greatest Story Ever Told".
"Speaker" is Banner's collaboration with Snoop Dogg, Akon and Lil Wayne who have all appeared on the new video. Both the single and the album's release date are yet to be determined.

Who says Snoop Dogg is no longer active? To show public worldwide that he in fact is still working on his music career, the rapper has reunited with Daz Dillinger and Kurupt to record a new album. The set dubbed "Cali Iz Active" is slated to be released June 27 later this year on his label, Doggy Style Records, in conjunction with Koch Records.
Also featured on the album are B-Real, David Banner, Soopafly and RBX. Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg was quoted as saying on the Web site http://www.allhiphop.com "I'm letting everybody know that the West Coast is definitely making a strong comeback. It's a beautiful thing for me to be able to work with them, and when we drop this album it's gonna shake the whole game up."

Secures the 4th place is Black Eyed Peas' "My Humps," followed by "Like You" by Bow Wow featuring Ciara at No. 5 and Green Day's "Wake Me Up When September Ends" at No. 6. Rounding out this weekend Top 10 is Young Jeezy's "Soul Survivor" featuring Akon at No. 7, ahead of Chris Brown's "Run It!" jumps three to No. 8. Kelly Clarkson is at 9th with "Because of You" and David Banner's "Play" holds the No. 10 spot on the Hot 100.

As strong as the rapper is pop diva Mariah Carey, whose "Shake It Off" sits at No. 2 of the chart for a sixth. Just behind is Canadian rock band Nickelback's "Photograph" ups one place to No. 3.
"Like You" by Bow Wow drops one place to No. 4, ahead of "My Humps" by the Black Eyed Peas which remains at No. 5. Green Day's "Wake Me Up When September Ends" and David Banner's "Play" each ups one to No. 6 and 7 respectively. In time, Young Jeezy's "Soul Survivor" featuring Akon rising eight places to No. 8. At no. 9 is Carey's former chart-topper "We Belong Together," followed behind by Fall Out Boy's "Sugar, We're Goin' Down" at No. 10.
