The clip which was directed by Kerry Kerslake, reportedly will also be the final video made for any of the band's songs from their latest self-titled debut LP.
Showing a touch of humanity, the video received a warm applause from the crowd that watch the premiere live at MTV's studio. On the clip, the band inserted footages of all the problems that happened in the world today, such as poverty, war and other important issues.

The Academy Award-winning actress took time out of her hectic filming schedule, turning a volunteer teacher for a day for children at a school in New Orleans, Louisiana recently.
Spent time with the at-risk youth of New Orleans at the Children's Defense Fund Freedom School, Reese helped the kids with their assignments, read a story to the class, and posed for photographs with the kids. The mother of two is having her trip being filmed for an upcoming American Idol charity special Idol Gives Back.

The music video that was debuted by Amazon.com on Monday, January 14 was directed by Martin Weisz that previously helmed the film 'The Hills Have Eyes II'. Beside sitting for films, Weisz had also directed many music videos such as P. Diddy's 'PE2000', Korn's 'Somebody Someone' and Meat Loaf's 'Did I Say That'.

And it looks like the big winner in the event might eventually be DAUGHTRY. The rock band took their third winning when Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens from High School Musical called their name for Favorite Pop/Rock Album.

Th 35th Annual American Music Awards has announced its nominees with 'surprise, surprise', Justin Timberlake and Beyonce Knowles on the lead. Both singers plus rock bands DAUGHTRY and Linkin Park earn three nominations each while others like T.I., Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Rascal Flatts run for two categories.
The award, that arranges its nomination by genre, put Beyonce and Timberlake head to head in the category Soul/R&B Favorite Album. DAUGHTRY's self-titled album is also nominated for Favorite Album in Pop or Rock, competing with Linkin Park's 'Minutes to Midnight' and Timberlake's 'FutureSex/LoveSounds'.

DAUGHTRY's much-delayed video premiere for 'Over You' is finally materialized. The video that was shot in Los Angeles back in July, was slated to premiere on Yahoo! on August 16 but was postponed to August 27 before finally arrives on VH1 on Wednesday, September 20.
The clip is about a girl having problem with alcoholism which is a disappointment to her boyfriend. Her behavior took its toll when she caused a car crash where the boyfriend died. All the while, the band is seen played in some kind of shack.

2007 MTV Video Music Awards nominees are in. On the terms of most count, the list has Justin Timberlake and Beyonce Knowles who both own seven nods each while on the terms of today's big buzz, Rihanna and Amy Winehouse came quite unsurprising.
Although having a great chance to bring home a statuette this year, Timberlake and Knowles are facing tough competition this year mainly on the highest nomination in the award. Video of the Year put Timberlake's 'What Goes Around..." and Knowles' 'Irreplaceable' on the same level to Kanye West's 'Stronger', Rihanna's 'Umbrella', Winehouse's 'Rehab' and unexpectedly, French electronic duo Justice's 'D.A.N.C.E.'

R. Kelly Scored #1 with "Double Up"

As expected, R. Kelly's "Double Up" opened at #1 on Billboard Hot 200 chart this week with nearly 368,000 copies sold. The release of this record makes his eight solo album to enter the chart at either #1 or #2.
With the exception of his debut album in 1992, R. Kelly has spawned continuous chart topping albums that are always beyond the 100,000 parameter. His sophomore effort "12 Play" debuted at #2 while the following self-titled album was treated better with #1 entry. The fourth, fifth and others entered the chart at either no. 1 or 2.

A 15.7 per cent increase is gained by the album sales this week, thanks to the highly commercial "Now That's What I Call Music! 24" that moves 213,000 units. Despite the compilation's 7 per cent drop from last week, it enters the chart at #1, a flip-flop position to last week's reigner "Let It Go" by Tim McGraw. The country singer's album has to give up the top position after a 46 per cent drop at 177,000.
A new album from country diva Martina McBride titled "Waking Up Laughing" bows at #3 by selling 144,000 copies at the first week. Just one position behind is teen star-turning mature Hilary Duff with her third studio album "Dignity" that sells 140,000. The biggest surprise of all in the chart comes next. Just when everybody thinks the hottest producer in town will shoot straight to No. 1, they have to question why Timbaland only debuts at No. 5. His " Timbaland Presents Shock Value" moves 138,000 copies despite the first single "Give It To Me" featuring Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado that constantly climbs up the Hot 100 chart.

The chart this week went through quite a change both in the number of copies sold and the albums reigning it. Coming first, second and third are all new comers. Modest Mouse's "We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank" sold the highest unit this week with 129,000 and therefore has the right to #1 spot. The tight competitor, Joss Stone's "Introducing Joss Stone" came in at No. 2 after selling 118,000 at the first week. Elliott Yamin with self-titled debut album meanwhile joins his fellow idol casts in the chart by sitting at #3 due to total sales of 90,000.
DAUGHTRY in its seventeenth week still holds its last week position at #4 after selling 76,000. With the kind of number, DAUGHTRY's self-titled album has sold a total of 2 million copies worldwide. A tie occurs between newcomer Marques Houston's "Veteran" and old reigner Akon's "Konvicted". "Veteran" and "Konvicted" have both sold an approximate of 69,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan but the former is positioned ahead at #5.

Just when new albums started entering the chart last week, they are replaced by a fresh batch of new ones this week. Also, the number 100,000 has been broken this week after four consecutive weeks selling under that. The breaker is brand new album "Luvanmusiq" by Musiq Soulchild that sells 149,000 copies. This is the R&B artist's second #1 album since "Juslisen" in 2002. In Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart meanwhile Musiq also score a place in the Top 5 through single "B.U.D.D.Y.".
Another fresh-from-the-oven, Lloyd's "Street Love" reigns the second runner of the chart thanks to a sale of 144,000. Rapper Rich Boy entails behind at #3 with his self-titled album that sells 112,000 units. At no. 4 self titled album from old topper DAUGHTRY goes through a decrease sale from 82,000 to 80,000.

The availability of Stacy Ferguson's "Glamorous" featuring rapper Ludacris for download sales has been on and off. In its ninth week, finally it gathers 166,000 digital sales and rightfully sits at the top position of Billboard Hot 100 chart. Stacy Ferguson aka Fergie has held the position twice and therefore is the only sixth solo female artist in 20 years to collect more than one #1 single from debut album.
With Fergie sitting on that position, it knocks out last week's three toppers to slip one places each. MIMS' "This Is Why I'm Hot" falls to #2, Akon's "Don't Matter" is down to #3 and Gwen Stefani's "The Sweet Escape" featuring Akon falls 3-4.

One week later, it debuted at #1 on US Billboard 200 chart with 99,000 copies sold. This is his third No.1 peak since "Life After Death" (1997) and "Born Again" (1999).
Indie rock band Arcade Fire that just entered the chart this week soars to #2 with the album "Neon Bible" at 92,000 copies. The two times former frontrunner Norah Jones' "Not Too Late" is down to #2 with a total of 74,000, while Akon's "Konvicted" rises to 73,000 and claims #3 post. Last week's #3 tenant Fall Out Boy through the album "Infinity on High" falls to #4 at 67,000.

Norah Jones isn't easy to be beaten. The jazz pianist has her album "Not Too Late" debuts at No. 1 spot on the Billboard album charts for a third, non-consecutive week, moving 100,000 in the week ended Sunday Feb 25th. With that attainment, the set thus becoming the first album to score three weeks at No. 1 since the "Now 22" compilation last summer.
Next on the chart is DAUGHTRY's self titled debut album which climbs all the way from No. 9 to No. 2, with sales of 84,000 copies. Following in at No. 3 is Fall Out Boy's "Infinity on High", jumps two places from No. 5, taking in another 79,000 copies. The Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart sees the victory of Justin Timberlake as the Jive Records recording artist scores his third No. 1 hit from his latest album "FutureSex/LoveSounds". The single, titled "What Goes Around … " bounces from No. 8 to the 1st spot in its 11th week on the Hot 100.
Follows in the footsteps of his two other hits "My Love" and "Sexyback", the video for "What Goes Around …" was recently released on iTunes, and during the first four days on iTunes, fans purchased and downloaded the video in excess of over 50,000 downloads and broke all records.

"Not Too Late" is Jones' third album, a follow up to her second LP, "Feels Like Home" which was released in 2004 to high sales.
Following close behind at the 2nd spot on the chart is the late Gerald Levert's posthumous release "In My Songs" moves 165,000 copies. The set, which is released via Island Records, successfully sold 260,000 copies in the week ended February 11, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Last week's chart-topper Norah Jones' "Not Too Late" slips one to 2nd spot, taking in another 236,000 copies. Rock band DAUGHTRY's self-titled debut holds at No. 3 for a third week selling 76,000 copies. Jones' last album, "Feels Like Home," debuted at No. 1 in February 2004 with 1.02 million copies; her 2002 debut, "Come Away With Me" reached the top the following year.
Behind her on the 2nd spot is Katharine McPhee's self-titled debut album, which sold 116,000 copies. Holding on to No. 3 is DAUGHTRY's "DAUGHTRY" sold 77,000 copies. In another major week for new releases, Pretty Ricky reaches the best achievement in the US album chart for the week ended Sunday January 28th. The hip-hop boy band has ended the "Dreamgirls" soundtrack's reign at the top of the Billboard 200 with their LP, "Late Night Special", sold 132,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The group's new album beats "Wincing the Night Away" by cult indie act The Shins who comes in 2nd with 118,000 copies sold. In the 3rd spot on the album chart is DAUGHTRY's self-titled RCA debut, which held the No. 1 spot the previous week, sold another 80,000 copies. Following at No. 4 is the new release "2007 Grammy Nominees," a collection of 23 tracks from this year's award contenders, which sold 77,000 copies.

In another dire week at music retail, DAUGHTRY, the band formed by "American Idol" contestant Chris Daughtry, successfully took the top spot of the Billboard 200 with their eponymous album sold another 65,000 copies in the United States in the week ended January 21st. This is the first time ever that the set hits the No. 1 spot in its ninth week on chart before previously debuted at No. 2 in November and not been lower than No. 11 since.
Coming next is Sony's "Dreamgirls" soundtrack, which secured the No. 2 spot, sold 130 copies less than that of DAUGHTRY's. Disney's "Jump In!" soundtrack followed close at No. 3 sold 57,000 copies, just one place ahead of Corinne Bailey Rae's self-titled Capitol debut at No. 4 on sales boost to 55,000. Thanks to its single "I Luv It" which has entered the Top 10 on the R&B charts and has a successful run in the video market that the LP could reach the top spot on the Billboard 200.
Debut at No. 2 on the chart is Taylor Hicks' self-titled album selling 298,000 copies. Fellow American Idol winner Carrie Underwood, in the meantime, has her LP "Some Hearts" scoring the 6th spot, with another 199,000 copies sold.

Jay-Z is celebrating his comeback to music scene when his latest effort "Kingdom Come" featured on the No. 1 spot of the Billboard album charts, sold a hefty 680,000 copies in the week ended November 26, marking the rapper's ninth chart-topper.
"Kingdom Come" is the first since Jay-Z's retirement in 2003. It, on top of all, ties the star with The Rolling Stones for third-most chart-toppers of all time, behind The Beatles (19) and Elvis Presley (10). The second best album on the chart is that of the new band DAUGHTRY, established by American Idol season five finalist Chris Daughtry, titled "DAUGHTRY" which sold 304,000 units.
