'Batman Returns' Villain Danny DeVito to Woo Kristen Bell in 'Rome'
April 14, 2008 10:04:17Danny DeVito, the depicter of Batman's archenemy, Oswald Cobblepot a.k.a. The Penguin, in "Batman Returns" reportedly will be starring in romantic comedy "When in Rome" opposite Kristen Bell, the star of television series "Veronica Mars". According to Hollywood Reporter, the 63-year-old actor has been signed to play in the Walt Disney Pictures' film.
The two-time co-star of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger in comedy films "Twins" and "Junior" is said to be taking the role of one of Bell's aggressive suitors. However, details about the character DeVito will be portraying has yet to be unveiled. The "Be Cool" actor will be joining the supporting cast that include Will Arnett, Josh Duhamel, Jon Heder, Anjelica Huston and Dax Shepard.

Kristin Chenoweth is joining Danny DeVito and Matthew Broderick to star in the upcoming comedy flick, "Deck the Halls".
The John Whitesell direction will start shooting May 29 in Vancouver and is slated for a November 22nd release date.

Threesome Danny DeVito, Dylan Walsh and Justin Long are all tackling a new challenge as they are about to star in the forthcoming Hart Bochner's direction titled "One Part Sugar".
As of Walsh, he will play Ray Tuckby, a man who clings to hopes of reuniting with an unrequited love from his childhood by staying in his rundown hometown. Elsewhere, Long will play the small city's young drug lord and real estate mogul.
