In anticipation of their huge come back, Australian rock outfit has decided to fold vocalist Neil Finn's intended solo album to be the band's first album in 10 years. "" is the band's fifth studio effort and the first without late drummer Paul Hester.

It took Hester's death in 2005 to draw the band together. Finn said, "We took a long break, and it wasn't destined to be a break at the time when we decided to break up, but I wanted to go and do my own thing, and I kind of reached a point where I needed to get away from it. In the end, the music drew us back to it because Nick (Seymour) and I started playing again and something in the sound of that and the feeling of the collaboration just drew me to the idea of being in a band again."

Pop-rock act added the excitement of their reunion with the announcement of new album. Under the title "", the first album in 15 years will feature the work of and guitarist John Marr.

The Chicks helps in the writing of track "Silent House" which is also available in their "" album but in a different version. Marr penned the song "Even A Child" together with the band's frontman Neil Finn.

While the Live Earth lineups of UK and US have been announced last week, it is Australia's turn to show its version. The continent's very own bands Silverchair and have both said 'yes' to perform in the July 7 event.

Besides the two, pop-rock band has made the concert even merrier since it will be one of their reunion performances. Surfer and singer who shot to fame after debut album "" (2001) was actually the first to confirm his participation in the concert. Upon choosing Australia leg, the Hawaii native said, "New Jersey and Australia are about the same distance for me, but Australia's waves are a lot bigger, so that made the decision easier for me."

Paul Hester of Crowded House Found Dead

Paul Hester, drummer of Crowded House, one of Australia's most successful bands in the late 1980s and early 1990s, committed suicide in Melbourne, Australia. The 46 years old man was last seen out walking his two dogs on Friday night before in the next day his body was found hanging from a tree in Elsternwick Park located near his house in southern Australia. At this moment the police claim Hester death a suicide the result of strangulation, and no foul play is suspected.

Despite that fact, a report in Australian daily The Age indicated Hester may have been suffering from clinical depression and had also just broken off an engagement to Kiwi singer Kashan in December 2004. No word whether he left behind a suicide note.
