released before on their own. In the middle of this, they ultimately settled to rename their band Crossfade which thus became the title of the revised record as it hit the stores on April 13, 2004. The LP gained quite satisfying outcome, soaring to the first rank of Billboard Top Heatseekers while taking its peak at #41 on The Billboard 200 Album chart, but it was its single of “Cold” that truly propelled them to vast recognition in the industry, thanks to its constant airplay on modern rock radios.

Proven to perform extremely well there upon spending a staggering 65 weeks on the Active Rock chart, “Cold” fantastically broke to the top three of both Billboard Mainstream Rock and Modern Rock Tracks within a short time, boosting up the album's sale to Platinum by August 2005. Amid this accomplishment, however, Crossfade sadly had to face the departures of its two members, first Geiger in 2004 then Byroads a year later. Fortunately, the remaining personnel were quick to find Geiger's replacement in James Branham and so concluded to stay as a trio thereafter.
