Details chronicling the unfortunate were not disclosed. It's been claimed though that Farrell hit the back of the car while he was behind the wheel of his Ford Bronco.
Colin Farrell Aboard Dark Thriller 'Triage'
April 11, 2008 02:04:23Colin Farrell, the co-star of Angelina Jolie in epic drama "Alexander", is going to star in the Parallel Films-produced movie "Triage". According to Variety, the villain in the superhero movie "Daredevil" has been tapped to star in the dark drama thriller film.
Though it is still unclear what character he will be portraying, the site noted that Farrell will share the screen with Paz Vega and Christopher Lee. Together with the two thesps, the "Miami Vice" actor will be working under the direction of Bosnian helmer Danis Tanovic.

AICN have come up with the recent casting news saying that the fantasy film has three Hollywood actors signed in to fill the role.
The movie news site claimed that it has been confirmed that Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell have stepped into the project and is going to fill in the lead role left by the late actor. It was also reported that by doing the role, they are going to pay tribute to Ledger. They will also bring up their own interpretation of the character to the film.

Then I go, 'Oh yeah', and it comes back to me. But from day one I felt that he's the way he's meant to be."
