The have significantly made a contribution in the music industry since coming with a boom in 2006 with their hit "Do It to It". The all-girls group are now ready to release their sophomore effort "The Truth" which none other than a work of their impressive songwriting skills.
Unlike many group acts that sometimes are fed with materials, the sisters of Cherish took the risk in publishing their own creative work despite their very young age. The result? A single that peaked at #12 on Billboard Hot 100 chart and #10 on U.S. R 'n' B chart plus a video that was constantly requested on BET's 106 & Park. Proving they are capable of their own success, the girls also handle most of the writings of "The Truth".
Video Premiere: Cherish's 'Amnesia'
May 07, 2008 03:05:54"Amnesia", a brand new music video from all girl group Cherish has been premiered on BET on Tuesday, May 6. The video is for the R 'n' B group's second single that is lifted from their soon-to-be-released sophomore effort, "The Truth".
The video was directed by Benny Boom who is also famous to have shot many music videos for R 'n' B artists like Mya, R. Kelly and The Pussycat Dolls. It is a black and white clip that was shot back in April, showing the former teenage girls in more matured looks.
Cherish Announce Their New Single, 'Killa'

All girl group Cherish have unveiled the first single off their second album. 'Killa' was announced on the R&B band's MySpace page to be the "Hot New Single".
The post read; "Hello to all our friends! Cherish is coming out soon with our hot new single called 'Killa'. It's not what you think? it's about a guy who has hot killa looks!. Get ready! cherish is coming! There has been a lot of rumors about our next single release. but you now hear it first from cherish!"

Christina Aguilera always does something in the biggest way possible. And marks her comeback to the music scene the pop singer really is serious about it which is apparent through her latest album "Back to Basics" which according to Nielsen SoundScan sold 342,000 copies in the week ended Sunday August 20th, such amount that bring the set to the very top position of album chart.
What's more "Back to Basics" also scores abroad, opened at number one in the U.K., Canada, Australia, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Ireland, among others. Lyfe Jennings' "The Phoenix", in the meantime, sold more than 135,000 copies to secure the 2nd spot and then followed by Trace Adkins' "Dangerous Man" at No.3 with 115,000 copies. Meanwhile, Cherish is at the 4th spot with their album "Unappreciated" sold 91,000 copies.
