Chaka Khan Makes a Return with New Single

After almost ten years going vacuum, Chaka Khan makes her return to music scene with new single. "Disrespectful" featuring R&B diva Mary J. Blige will be released in advance of the album "FUNK This!"
The upcoming set will be her first full-length record under her new label Burgundy Records which she tied deal with in early 2006. Most of the tracklisting will be coverage of popular songs that is topped with new materials produced by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis and James "Big Jim" Wright.
Stevie Wonder Received Top Honor in ASCAP Award

Stevie Wonder was not only the guest of honor in American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) American Troubadour Award, but he also claimed the top award in the event. The award is presented to Wonder for his contribution as a songwriter that has brought a positive influence both inside and outside the industry.
In the award's "Songwriter Night" that was held in Capitol Hill on March 13, a line of stars saluted Wonder by singing his classics. Among the them are India.Arie, Tony Bennett, Wyclef Jean, Wynonna Judd, Chaka Khan, Brian McKnight, Smokey Robinson and Joan Osborne.
