The Flaming Lips Appears for 2007 Monolith Fest

Still in the first cycle, Monolith Festival has lined up a number of renowned names to lift the festival's reputation. Considerably a magnificent line up, the festival has The Flaming Lips, Cake, Spoon and Kings of Leon for a start.
The two-nights event that will be held September 14-15 at Red Rock Amphitheatre, Denver also has moderately interesting combination such as The Decemberists, Das EFX, Earl Greyhound, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Ghostland Observatory, Juliette and The Licks and also William Elliott Whitmore.
Movies Lined Up for the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival

Took shape in 2002 in the wake of the World Trade Center attack to "enable the international film community and the general public to experience the power of film by redefining the film festival experience", the Tribeca Film Festival finally revealed the long list of films participating as it celebrates its sixth anniversary this year, set to take place in New York City on April 25-May 6.
In total, the event will present 159 feature films and 85 shorts that include 75 world premieres, 4 international premieres, 32 North American premieres, 18 U.S. premieres, and 20 New York City premieres with eighteen movies and sixteen documentaries competing in World Narrative and World Documentary Feature Film Competitions, respectively.
NIN to Play Voodoo Fest
October 18, 2005 02:10:31The Voodoo Music Experience, which previously scheduled to take place in New Orleans on October 29-30, has been moved to another city due to the Hurricane Katrina. Yet the show must go on and so it will be held on October 29 in New Orleans and the following night in Memphis.
Has been tapped to perform is Nine Inch Nails who will play both nights. Also confirmed to play in Memphis among others are Secret Machines, Cake, North Mississippi Allstars, New York Dolls, Carl Cox, Better Than Ezra, The Decemberists and HIM. Proceeds from the Voodoo Music Experience will benefit a host of Katrina-related charities, including the New Orleans Restoration Fund, Habitat for Humanity and Bring New Orleans Back.
