'The Celebrity Apprentice' Week 7 Recap: Brian McKnight Tossed Out
April 13, 2009 02:04:53Tensions were in the air as "The Apprentice" entered its seventh episode on Sunday, April 12. Following the kicking out of Khloe Kardashian and Tionne Watkins from the boardroom last week, Joan Rivers clearly expressed her unhappy felling that Clint Black is still around and Brian McKnight was told to join Athena after his no-show in the last episode.
In the two hour-long episode, the two celebrity teams were first given the task to design a package and store display for identity-theft-protection company LifeLock. After being told that they will be judged on brand message, originality, and overall design, the two teams selected their project manager. Athena appointed Brian, while Natalie Gulbis stepped up for KOTU.

Spotted among the stars who will compete to impress Donald Trump with their skill in management and business are the sister of Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and NBA bad boy Dennis Rodman.
Also on the women's group are mother-daughter Joan Rivers and Melissa Rivers, "Deal or No Deal" model Claudia Jordan, poker pro Annie Duke, former TLC singer Tionne Watkins aka T-Boz, Playboy playmate Brande Roderick, and golfer Natalie Gulbis.
Stevie Wonder Received Top Honor in ASCAP Award

Stevie Wonder was not only the guest of honor in American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) American Troubadour Award, but he also claimed the top award in the event. The award is presented to Wonder for his contribution as a songwriter that has brought a positive influence both inside and outside the industry.
In the award's "Songwriter Night" that was held in Capitol Hill on March 13, a line of stars saluted Wonder by singing his classics. Among the them are India.Arie, Tony Bennett, Wyclef Jean, Wynonna Judd, Chaka Khan, Brian McKnight, Smokey Robinson and Joan Osborne.

McKnight to Sing for All-Star Spectators
July 11, 2005 11:07:16Commencing the All-Star game held at Comerica Park on Tuesday, R&B artist Brian McKnight will sing the Canadian national anthem along with the Canadian All-Star Choir, a combination of three choirs from Windsor, Ontario, located across the Detroit River from the city. Meanwhile, members of the Grammy-winning Winans gospel family will join McKnight to perform "God Bless America" during the seventh-inning stretch.
