It's been twelve years after his death that Kurt Cobain, Nirvana singer-songwriter, is making another record. The late rocker, whose wealth in an estimated $50 million between October 2005 and October of this year, tops the top spot on Forbes' 6th annual Top-Earning Dead Celebrities list.
In the last 12 months, Cobain reportedly earned $50 million, which is said largely due to his widow, Courtney Love, who sold a stake in his song catalog to publishing company Primary Wave. The once proclaimed King of Pop Elvis Presley, who died in 1977 and reigned as the top earner from 2001 to 2005, slips to 2nd spot with earnings of $42 million.

Rita Marley Denies Reburial Plans
January 15, 2005 10:01:33Bob Marley's widow, Rita Marley, through the representative for the Marley Foundation, Desta Meghoo, confirms her "twisted words". As she said that Rita's previous statement: "working on bringing Marley's remains to Ethiopia is part of Bob's own mission because his whole life is about Africa, not about Jamaica" doesn't mean that she's going to rebury his husband remains in Ethiopia.
Rather, Meghoo says it as an honest and sincere truth, Rita feels about his husband. Unfortunately that statement has caused misunderstanding and misinformation among public.
Bob Marley's Remains Be Reburied in Ethiopia
January 14, 2005 10:01:27Admitted to carrying out his husband mission, Rita Marley, is going to exhume Bob Marley's remain from Jamaica and have it reburied in Shashemene, Ethiopia. The reburial is going to be done on Marley's a month long 60th anniversary next month.
Another reason encourages Rita wants the reburial is because his Reggae legend husband had spent most of his life in Ethiopia and not in Jamaica. Besides, Rita believed that Marley ought to be buried in Ethiopia where his large Rastafarian companions live in Ethiopia's last emperor, Haile Selassie, their living god given land.
