Rep Confirms Bo Bice's Third Child a Baby Boy
September 17, 2009 01:09:25Bo Bice and his wife Caroline Fisher are expecting a baby boy, a representative has confirmed. "The rock triad will now be complete!" the representative tells Us Weekly. "Watch out for the Brothers Bice or Bo Bice Brothers Band release later this year."
Bo Bice, who is the runner-up of "American Idol" season 4, wed longtime girlfriend Caroline Fisher in a strictly confidential ceremony in their hometown of Helena, Alabama on June 15, 2005. They have become parents to two sons; Aidan Michael Bice and Caleb James. The upcoming baby boy, thus, will be their third child.

"American Idol has a new winner each year - seems things are the same in our house," Bice tells People exclusively. "Can't wait to introduce our new little 'Idol' to the world January 31st!" He doesn't disclose though if he and Fisher have found out the sex of the baby.

Serving as mentors this year on Idol Camp are fourth season runner-up Bo Bice, fifth season finalists Paris Bennett and Ace Young as well as season 3 finalist Jon Peter Lewis. The last two are particularly not new to the camp for they have been mentors in last year's batch.
As many as 150 Idol hopefuls that are comprised of kids between 10 to 15 years old will participate in this Idol Camp that runs in two-weeks segments starting June 15 and ending August 23. The program launched as part of the Fox TV show has moved from last year's venue in Massachusetts to West Coast's San Bernardino mountains.

Bo Bice just strengthens the notion that it doesn't take the first position in American Idol to have one record after another. The rock singer will release his second album called 'See the Light', the follow up of 2005's 'The Real Thing' that debuted at #4 in Billboard Hot 200 chart.
"I enjoyed 'The Real Thing,' but (the new album) is more a labor of love," Bo told Billboard.com. "It's really me getting back to the roots of what Bo is, which is a Southern rock album and nothing more."

Former American Idol star Bo Bice has to unfortunately cancel his three concert dates in Georgia, Florida and Anaheim, California after he was diagnosed with intussusception, an intestinal condition found mostly in young children and which he may have had since he was born.
According to his Website, Bo was hospitalized Sept. 26 after experiencing a relapse of his condition. "After the first round of tests was completed last week, Bo's medical team concluded on review of the results that surgery could not wait, and he was immediately admitted to the hospital," the singer's management team explained.

The Real Thing About Bo Bice

"I'm obviously very excited about the album, to see what people think of it," he said about the set. "I had quite a bit of creative control, and I was extremely pleased with that. I had a lot of input."
"The Real Thing" consists of 11 tracks that were written by Bice himself. One of them dubbed "Valley of Angels," is a ballad he wrote several years ago that was given a new instrumental bridge by producer Cliff Magness. It is about the idea that things aren't perfect. "Everyone fumbles and falls and makes mistakes. When you're down, you might not feel there's any place of serenity you can find. It's about finding peace," Bice revealed.

Bo Bice Hospitalized, to Miss Radio Music Awards
December 20, 2005 11:12:48American Idol runner up Bo Bice was rushed to hospital Sunday after he became ill while rehearsing for a performance on the 2005 Radio Music Awards at the Aladdin Resort & Casino. The singer, supposedly tapped to fill in for ailing Ashlee Simpson at Monday night's Radio Music Awards, started coughing up blood with complications from recent intestinal surgery assumed as the main cause.
Soon then the performer was rushed to Desert Spring Hospital, where he underwent emergency intestinal surgery in August. Despite such fact, Roger Widynowski, a publicist for RCA Records insisted "He didn't collapse but was rushed to the hospital. Bo is doing fine, and he's going back to Nashville today for treatment." Due to such fact, Goo Goo Dolls is then slated to perform in his place.

''We're still in the beginning stages. I've been doing some studio work and practicing with my band, Sugar Money, when I have a chance to go back home. We did a little bit of recording while I was there. Obviously I'm still plugging my cats there, and trying to get the band on the road with me,'' said Bice.
Refused to reveal anyone he's working with for the album, Bice merely noted producers Desmond Child and Jamie Houston, and his duet with Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi on the 1970 Ides of March song "Vehicle." Won't confirm rumors saying he did a duet with Carlos Santana for the guitar great's next album, Bice explained, "I'd look forward to doing that. I can't speculate, though. Until things are in stone with me, I don't ever know what's going on."

Bo's marriage has been confirmed Thursday by Roger Widynowski, publicist for his label, RCA Records. The couple exchanged vows at the New Hope Presbyterian Church and their marriage certificate was granted Thursday in Shelby County, according to a report in People magazine.
