August 21, 2009 09:08:52The first trailer for "The Wolfman" has finally arrived via Yahoo! Movies. More than two minutes long, the promotional video for the remake of 1941 horror thriller classic takes a look at how the myth of a cursed man is brought back to its iconic origins. It uncovers the transformation of Benicio del Toro from a noble man Lawrence Talbot into the cursed beast as well.
The trailer features Anthony Hopkins as Lawrence's father Sir John Talbot, Emily Blunt as Lawrence's love interest Gwen Conliffe, Hugo Weaving as Detective Aberline and Geraldine Chaplin as old Gypsy Maleva. In addition to giving out more to the storyline, it also teases how gory the movie will be.

The Javier Fesser's film about a young girl's death, her mother's staunch Catholic beliefs and the Church's effort to canonize the girl collected six awards, including the coveted prize, Best Film.
Apart from the Best Film prize, the movie also brought home kudos for director and writer Javier Fesser as the fimmaker was awarded with Best Director and Best Original Screenplay. Additionally, its actresses, Carmen Elias and Nerea Camacho, and actor Jordi Dauder have been hailed Best Actress, Breakthrough Actress and Best Supporting Actor in respective order.

Famous celebs ranging from Angelina Jolie, Madonna, to Cher have all teamed up, designing kites for charity.
The celebs-designed kites, to be auctioned off on eBay by December 5, will help raise money for the Afghanistan Relief Organization (AFO), which will be used to train new teachers and establish libraries in Afghanistan.

Universal Pictures has pointed its finger to Benicio Del Toro as their one and only choice to play the title role in the new version of its horror classic "The Wolfman" which is expected for a summer 2008 tentpole.
While Andrew Kevin Walker has begun writing the script, Scott Stuber, Rick Yorn, Mary Parent, and Toro are all slated to give hand at producing.
