Athlete Unveils New Album Tracklisting

Releasing the detail of their new album one by one, indie rock act Athlete has just announced the complete tracklisting. "Beyond the Neighbourhood" contains 11 tracks including first single "Hurricane".
Those making the cut in disorderly list are "In Between 2 States", "Hurricane", "Tokyo", "Airport Disco", "It's Not Your Fault", "The Outsiders", "Flying Over Bus-Stops", "Second Hand Stores", "In The Library", "Best Not To Think About", "This Is What I Sound Like".

Once again set to hold Ivor Novello Awards this year, British Academy of Composers and Songwriters has announced the nominees of the prestigious event and it was Coldplay who turned out to lead the nominations. Receiving three nods, the band has been nominated through "Fix You" in the category of Best Song also "Speed of Sounds" which will challenge James Blunt's hit single of "You're Beautiful" in those of PRS Most Performed Work and International Hit of the Year.
Other nominees include notable names like Robbie Williams and Natalie Imbruglia who both obtained one nomination as well as Kaiser Chiefs and Athlete who compete in the same category of Best Contemporary Song. The Sundance Film Festival Lineup
January 09, 2006 01:01:53Numbers of famous musicians have been tapped to join the lineup at the Sundance Film Festival, which is going to be held January 20-28 at the Sundance Music Cafe in Park City, Utah. Among those are Rufus Wainwright, Bruce Hornsby, Michael Penn and Savage Garden alumnus Darren Hayes.
Those names will feature at the 8th annual event which is aimed to encourage onscreen collaborations among filmmakers, composers and songwriters. Meanwhile, stars set to perform among others include Schuyler Fisk, Sharon Stone, musicians led by Patrick Fugit, Mike Doughty, 2 Foot Yard, Athlete, Augustana, and many more.
