"Ashanti was ready to settle down, while her beau wanted to sow his wild oats," the New York Daily News claims. Adding fuel to the break-up report, Nelly reportedly has been seen spending time together with model-actress Melyssa Ford in Las Vegas and Miami.

About that, a source tells Star, "Tina sticks her nose in everything because she's also Ashanti's manager. She's always pushing Ashanti to make more money, to always look great. It stresses her out, and Nelly doesn't like that." Despite the fact that Nelly himself has been encouraging his singer girlfriend to not always depend on her mother, still "she's kind of afraid of" Tina because Tina "has such a strong personality."

Ashanti to Scoop Unreleased Songs in 'The Vault'

Her recording label, AJM Records, reveal that her upcoming studio album will be released on October 14 and the materials in the effort will carry singles that she has penned since 2001 when she signed exclusively to AJM.
Furthermore, the recording company says that her vocals will be touched up by powerhouse producers, including 15-year-old Miguel "Migs" Baeza. In the album's lead single "Let's Do Something Crazy", Migs brings out rapper Flo Rida to add a few verses.

She is the R&B singer Ashanti, who is planning to star in Betty Thomas' comedy direction titled "John Tucker Must Die," which is described as a high school take on "The First Wives Club."
The movie, which is the 20th Century Fox project, is focused on three girls from different social groups who band together to seek revenge on the school's resident man who has broken their hearts. They are all plan to set him up to fall for the new girl in town, just so she can dump him and break his heart. Ashanti and Sophia Bush are the two set to play the trio, while Brittany Snow plays the new girl in town and Jesse Metcalfe to play the title character.
