April 01, 2008 11:04:52The young stars of the Walt Disney Pictures' drama "Bridge to Terabithia" have proved their dominance at the 29th Annual Young Artist Awards. As the winners of the awards for the young performers were announced on Sunday, March 30, it was revealed that all of its young theps have nailed all the four nods given to them earlier.
At the event, the film's two leading performers, Josh Hutcherson and AnnaSophia Robb, have been hailed the leading young actor and actress respectively in the category of Best Performance in a Feature Film. The two teenage actors have overshadowed in total 16 other strong contenders, including Alex Etel of "The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep", Freddie Highmore of "August Rush", Abigail Breslin of "No Reservations" and Saoirse Ronan of "Atonement".

February 25, 2008 02:02:04The drama fantasy "Bridge to Terabithia" has become the leading film on the 29th Young Artist Awards' nominations as the Young Artist Foundation unveiled the list of young theps up for the special awards for the young performers. The Walt Disney Pictures' movie has gathered four counts, including the Young Ensemble Cast nod.
Beside the ensemble count, the film's two leading performers, Josh Hutcherson and AnnaSophia Robb, were also nominated for leading young actor and actress categories respectively. In the male category, Hutcherson has to face 9 other young actors, such as Alex Etel of "The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep", Freddie Highmore of "August Rush", Logan Lerman of "3:10 To Yuma" and Chris O'Neil of "The Last Mimzy". Meanwhile, for the female gong, Robb was set to be up against strong contenders, naming some are Abigail Breslin and Saoirse Ronan.

Strike a reunion following the success of "Bridge to Terabithia", director Gabor Csupo and child actress AnnaSophia Robb are joining forces to work together in "The White Giraffe", a new film feature Walden Media is developing for Fox-Walden to distribute.
Based on Lauren St. John children's novel of the same name, the project centers on a young British orphan who is sent to live under her grandfather's care on a South African wild preserve. Her life is changed forever when she sets out to discover the truth about a fabled and mysterious white giraffe.

Charlize Theron is the latest addition to the cast of the upcoming indie drama "Ferris Wheel." The actress is joining fellow cast members who among others are Nick Stahl, AnnaSophia Robb, Woody Harrelson, Dennis Hopper and Deborra-Lee Furness just to name a few.
Not only starring in, Theron will as well have her production company Denver and Delilah team up with Film Engine and Infinity Features to produce the project. Aside, Bill Maher is in hand directing from a script by Zac Stanford.
Robb Builds the Bridge

The film is based on Katherine Paterson's Newberry Medal-winning children's novel of the same title, which Gabor Csupo about to direct with Jeff Stockwell is writing the screenplay. Filming is scheduled to begin February in New Zealand for a spring 2007 release.
