Alison Sweeney of 'The Biggest Loser' Gives Birth to Baby Girl
January 14, 2009 10:01:58Alison Sweeney, host of the seventh season of NBC's reality TV show "The Biggest Loser," has given birth to a baby girl, her second child with husband David Sanov, 12 minutes to midnight on Monday, January 12. In an exclusive report by People, it is confirmed that the infant, weighing in at 6 lb.- 7 oz. at time of birth, is named Megan Hope Sanov.
Telling People that "Both mommy and baby - and daddy, too - are doing well," Alison's representative, Carrie Simons, also reveals the actress was "still in hair and makeup from her day on the set!" shortly before she delivered the baby. "It was a very easy delivery, and everybody is great," Carrie adds.

Though so, it was not until Sunday, July 20 that she revealed the sex of the baby she's carrying. She told OK! magazine during a party for NBC that she's expecting a baby girl.
"We found out that it's a girl and we're really excited about that," Alison told OK! Is due to give birth to the baby on January 20 next year, she and husband David Sanov have not yet decided on a name, telling OK! "It's a battle we're waging. It's going to be a long time before we figure that out."

Sweeney, who is best known for her portrayal of Samantha "Sami" Gene Brady on the American soap opera "Days of Our Lives," revealed the news to the cast of the season 6 of NBC's reality TV show "Biggest Loser" Monday, June 23. "She told them that, in a season all about family, hers is about to get bigger," her representative confirmed in a statement.
