Former 'American Idol' Finalist Ace Young Confirms Engagement
June 30, 2009 10:06:36Singer-songwriter Ace Young is engaged. He confirms to US Weekly that he recently proposed to Allison Fischer, his co-star on Broadway's "Grease." Sharing no further details on his engagement, he does admit, "I found my true love in Grease."
Ace Young first came to recognition upon appearing on the fifth season of the popular reality television talent show, "American Idol." He finished seventh on the singing competition. Beside recording, Ace also appeared in some reality TV shows, like VH1's "Rock of Love: Charm School".
Red Carpet Treatment for New York Premiere of 'Pride and Glory'
October 16, 2008 03:10:21On Wednesday, October 15, the New York premiere of "Pride and Glory" has been held at AMC Lowes Lincoln Square 13. Attended by most of its cast ensemble, the red carpet event saw lead actors Edward Norton, Jon Voight, Colin Farrell and Noah Emmerich coming in to join the celebration.
Other than those lead, cast members Lake Bell, Jennifer Ehle, Manny Perez, Frank Grillo, John Ortiz and Shea Whigham were also spotted on the evening. Joining the film's stars at the premiere were director Gavin O'Connor and President of Warner Bros. Alan Horn, while celebrity guests included former "American Idol" contestant Ace Young and model Lydia Hearst.

The 27-year-old who also writes his own music, has released his self-titled debut album on July 15 via Pazzo Music with "Addicted" as the first single and AceShowbiz has 3 copies of the CD to be given away.
The album, took over 16 months and more than 5 studios to record. Ace said, "I've taken my time because I realized how important it is to make sure it's right, true to me and up to my level of expectation. I only get one chance to tell my fans who I am."
